I am new to Upwork.  I want to apply for transcriptionist jobs, but I am not sure how I will receive the work to be transcribed.  Any information appreciated.

Sara:

Upwork is a general freelancing site, and not specifically a transcription work site. So it doesn't have specific features just for transcription. How you do transcription work here is no different than how you would do it anywhere else.

In practice, I imagine that clients would send you either:

- audio files

- video files with audio

or

- physical tapes
