unable to send message to a freelancer

Hi there, I am new to Upwork. I have a project where I need to find Medical Doctors from Upwork for consultancy, I found some but I am unable to send message to them. I am based in New Zealand and I need to send the messages to the MD's based in the US. Is the location an issue? or because I am also a freelancer and not a client? Please help. Thank you

Thanks for reaching out to us. In order to post a job and hire another freelancer, you need to have a client account. Kindly, follow the steps in this help article so you can create a client profile as well and continue with the job posting.
