unresponsive freelancer

I worked with two different jobs for one project and the freelancer I hired is not responding anymore while we are working on the second part of the project. Can someone help me out?

You are putting the needs and interests of a single freelancer ahead of your own needs and the needs of your project.

That is a mistake.

Put yourself first. Put your project first.

This is business.

This freelancer is a stranger on the Internet. He does not matter.

He is not interested in talking to you at this time. That is his choice. There is no button that can force him to respond. I don't want to talk to Upwork Customer Support about this. Even if they could contact the freelancer, I do not want them to. I don't want to have people working on my project who don't want to be there. I don't want unmotivated freelancers in my system doing a half-baked, reluctant job.

So this is all very simple:

I simply assign the remaining work to other members of my team.

If I don't have enough people on my team, I hire additional people.

I PUT MY PROJECT FIRST.
