Starting January 17, freelancers and clients can start recording Zoom meetings right in Messages. During this two-week test, the recorded meetings are available to anyone with the link and password for seven days.
To start a meeting from Messages, freelancers and clients locate the phone symbol in the top right corner of the message room. After agreeing to Zoom’s Terms of Service, clients and freelancers initiate a meeting from Messages. The meeting opens in the web browser or in the Zoom app, and a link is posted in the message room that invites everyone in the room to join the call.
To record the meeting, freelancers and clients select Recorded Zoom Meeting on the Messages screen.
"Upwork users can now start recorded Zoom meetings from Messages, which allows you to come back to review important meetings or share with team members who couldn't attend. You can still start non-recorded Zoom meetings as before," shares Product Manager Maieda J.
