Beginning February 2, half of all freelancers can access a personalized resource page that includes tips on how to succeed on Upwork. This test aims to specifically support freelancers who have not yet earned on the platform by providing more guidance on how to win their first job.
Freelancers are invited to their personalized resource page from a banner that appears on these pages:
- Post-onboarding page
- Profile page
- Proposal page
On the post-onboarding page, freelancers can see a banner at the bottom of the page that says, “We’re here to help–Discover tools like help articles to kickstart your Upwork journey.”
On the profile page, freelancers can see a banner on the left side of the page that says, “Not sure where to start? We’re here to help. Discover tools like help articles to kickstart your Upwork journey.”
On the proposal page, freelancers can see a banner at the bottom of the page that says, “Want to improve your chances of success? Head over to our new Talent Support page that provides the tools you need to get started.”
After clicking on the banner link, freelancers are directed to their personalized support page, which includes these resources:
- Direct links to Academy resources
- Tips on how to build a winning profile
- Information on the multiple ways to earn on Upwork
- Guidance on how to work with Connects
