Hi Kamran,

We appreciate you bringing this up and we want to clear this up for everyone in order to avoid any confusion moving forward.

The Bring Your Own Client program is offered to both Freelancer Plus members and freelancers who have the Top Rated, Top Rated Plus, or Rising Talent badge.

Freelancers with the mentioned badges are notified via email when they first receive the badge and are informed that they can take advantage of the BYOC program.

Before, this was limited to these freelancers but in order to extend this perk to other freelancers, we also made it available for those subscribed to Freelancer Plus.

The 0% service fee only applies if the clients sign up using the unique link for the freelancers. If you have not received a personal invitation link, please email BringYourClient@upwork.com.

I want my BYOC link so I can invite my non-upwork client so he can pay me with 0% fees deduction. Tell me where I can get my BYOC link?

I have emailed bringyourclient@upwork.com twice over the last two weeks requesting my link and they haven't even looked at the emails let alone gotten back to me. Please advise as I have a client patiently awaiting instructions and I can't keep stalling on her.

Dear Pradeep,
Thank you for your reply
Pls check...
https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211062888-Freelancer-Plus

Here is the sentence:

Enjoy a 0% freelancer service fee when you bring new clients to Upwork. That’s 0% in freelancer service fees on all your contracts with those clients forever. Clients cannot have an existing Upwork account; reach out to us for more information

What does this mean if I’m mistaken?
I will wait for your response
Thanks

Hi there!

I hope you're doing well! I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your help with my previous issue. I’m reaching out again because I’ve run into a little hiccup with the new Pro version.

When I signed up, I was excited about the offer of no 10% commission on my every first connection. However, I’ve noticed that this fee is still being applied to my account despite sending several proposals. Could you please clarify what’s going on with this offer?

Thank you!

Hi Matthew,

Thank you for your message. I would like to clarify that the 0% freelancer service fee applies only to jobs with new clients you've brought to Upwork. That’s 0% in freelancer service fees on all your contracts with those clients forever. You can learn more by visiting this helpful page

Hi Ronna,

Thanks for your response. You mean that when I have a client for the fisrt time, it is free or when the client have first connection with us is free? I don't understand. Please clarify for me this matter. Since I have bought the connection, the 10% fee is amplied for all my proposal.

best,

Matt

Hi Matthew,

I'm sorry for the confusion. This means if you have an existing client outside Upwork and you have invited them to sign up with us for the first time and hire you, your contracts with them will have the opportunity to have a 0% service fee.

You can submit a request to waive the freelancer service fee for any new clients you bring to Upwork from your Community profile or by emailing BringYourClient@upwork.com. After you submit your request, our team will be in touch with a client link within the next two business days. Please keep in mind that the client must be a new client and should not have an existing Upwork account. For more information, you can visit this helpful article
