Hello,
I just got notification that I will refund $1126 and I am not covered under Upwork Hourly Payment Protection and this is becaue my account is blocked and my account is blocked becase of recent bad feedbacks, considering that last bad feedback was from this same client who, his payment is failed,
So he simply used me and Upwork to get his issue solved, he hired me and once I solved his issue and he got the solution up and running and tested on his server, he closed the contract >>> give bad feedback >> asked for a refund (which I of course refused) >> Upwork blocked me >> I been forced to refund as his paymnet failed and I am not protected because I am blcoked because he left bad feedback !!!!!! wooow can you belive it,
Now after 16+ years of working on Upwork, I see that Upwork is not protecting my and this is too bad,
I have justification for all and every contract with bad feedback, and actually unfortunately the last domain I workd in, is the reason, it's domain full of non-honest clients, this is why I got many bad feedbacks recently and Upwork found that I should be blocked,
Anyway here is my answer for the blocking and I really hope that someone can help me because this is simply not fair at all,

Did you read my feedback on every client/project closed recently?
The problem comes from the scammers which becomes a lot recently in Upwork, specially in the domain I worked in recently "forex development" in Upwork,
Let's start from the end:
*Last client who gives me less than 3 stars and requested a refund, I told him that I will need 40 hours of work to fulfill his request, he give me only 30 hours, yet I finished the job, instead of thanking me he started to say it is easy task and shouldn't take all this time if so then why he accept from the beginning !!, I was very clear from the beginning, are you really counting this on me !!! you should re-evaluate the client not me if you want to be fair,
I am not trying to play any games on my clients, and I always try to be 100% honest inside Upwork and outside it, as this is what my religion ask me todo,
You can check my messages recently with client "Wolfgang Roesner", once I told him that I estimate his work as maximum of 40 hours, he found that this is too much and didn't work with me, no problem at all,
I think it is clear the difference between those 2 clients, first one let me finish his work and once he got the solution runs and working fine on his server he started to play games to get the money back, what do you expect me to do, want me to accept the refund !!!! you should block him instead of me if you want to make good market place.
I have justification for every client project and I am requesting to open a full detailed investigation with me by technical team from Upwork,
I will give brief on other clients, which is not eligible clients and you should take actions against them instead of me,
There was client from KSA, which in our first meeting he said that he afraid that he hires me then I didn't get the job done, I told him to hire me and after first week (40 hours work) if he didn't get what he wants then he can have a refund, guess what we worked for 2 months and I did him a great project, but he simply comes at the end of the 2 months to ask for a refund, how funny is this ?!!!!
Do you really counting this on me? this was 2 contracts with 1 star feedback, of course he was very upset that he wasn't able to have free slave for 2 months !!
*Also if you review you will see a client from Iran who I gave her same offer (1 week refund) and she asked for a refund after the first week, I simply refunded her with no question,
I think it is clear the difference between those 2 clients.
*The 2 clients who I didn't reply to them in around a week for first time in my last 16 years (I guess) working here, Guess what the reason was that my account was suspended and why? cos. a problem in 2 hours with another client,
So your rules let employee at your company blocking me from communicating with other 2 clients because I have problem with client that thinks that she can waste my time for free !!!!
If you review the feedback I wrote you will see that I mention this in the feedback already, so to come now and say that my availability is not up to your market standard this is not fair,
And by the way, when you suspended my account because of the 2 hours issue, I simply refunded the client for those 2 hours, even while I don't see this fair, but I did this only because I see the other 2 clients have nothing to do with all this and to be able to communicate with them, this is my standards, guess what, your employee didn't release the suspension quickly so the clients get angry and one of them ask for a refund and you give him a refund because my account is suspended,
Are you counting those 2 angry clients / bad reviews on me??

This happened to me as well! A client scamed me and left a bad review and now I am blocked and no one from support is answering me.

Based on my experience over the last 16 years with Upwork, I can confidently say that the site is becoming less protective of workers year after year. The latest scammer managed to get the solution they wanted from an expert like me without paying anything, thanks to Upwork's new rules!!!

Thank you for your response, but are you sure they will investegate and response bacK?
I am not sure as I got email with this statemnt in it: "Unfortunately, you will be unable to appeal the block on your account until six months has elapsed"
Also the ticket is marked as solved,

I responded to the ticket titled "Attention: Account Block - Upwork Marketplace Standards" with ID#49820654 at October 15, 2024 21:29 and didn't get any response till now !!
and responded to the ticket titled "Reversal Notification: Upwork Hourly Protection" with ID#49834459 at October 15, 2024 20:33 and didn't get any respone till now !!
This is much more than 48 hours,
Please push my requestes with the team, today is October 25, 2024

Also it is marked as solved while it is not,
last one saying I am not verified while I have been working here for over 16 years now,
Something wrong going on,

So, You was sucpended because scammed. Scammer succed because you suspended. Clients stopped works because you suspended. You was banned for half year because clients stopped works.
Its a crazy!
