Account Suspended

Please resolve my issue !!
I am not able to submit proposals as it says "you can't submit a proposal because your account is suspended.".
However, when I submitted an appeal to unsuspend my account they responded that my account is not suspended. Please resolve my issue.
I'm not getting a proper support on this. I've been only asked to clear cache & cookies & I've tried it several times but doesn't work. Also, the same issue persists on mobile app. There must be a technical issue then. Please investigate this matter.

Hi Hassaan,

 

If the action buttons that you usually use are grayed out, the Trust & Safety team may have suspended your account. In that case, you will have received a support ticket with an email notification about the action on your account. Please refer to your ticket on this page and reply to the email if you have any questions for the team.

Hi, and hope this report get to you well and good. This will be the second Upwork account am using to reach out to the communityand support because they didn't reply or sought out my issue and they keep suspending my account for no reason stated, . I understand that it is against Upwork's ToS to have more than one account and I abide to that. So I'd delete this account as soon as this issue is resolved.  So the main issue i have here right now is how am going yo withdraw the pending funds of $1600+ on my Upwork account that is going to be available for withdrawal on 19th Tuesday. This issue is a very pressing matter for me and my Family especially dear Mom. The funds i have on the account is wanted to be used for the leg surgery my Mom wanted to undergo by this week 22nd Friday but upwork is letting me down on issue. All I want is how am going to withdraw the funds on my account and pay for the hospital bills.  I have an Open ticket on this that has not been solve, ID : 44546084.

Good day to the Upwork community. I hope you could help me out with the huge issue I'm having at the moment.

I created this profile to solve the problem because my account is suspended.

14.12.23 - I received an email notification that my account is suspended (required to provide documents for verification). I provided them the same day.

15.12.23 - I received an email notification that my documents were successfully accepted and I need to wait for further information on the status of my application.

18.12.23 - I received an email notification that my account has been permanently suspended because "Unfortunately, your account has been permanently suspended as we are not able to verify your identity.".

At the same time, my account was immediately deleted and all my earnings over the past months from my various clients are not withdrawable. I was shocked that this happened to me as I am fully confident in my identity documents. During this second identity verification I used the same ID document that I used when I registered on Upwork, which was successfully accepted then (my foreign passport). The only difference is that at the time of account registration I temporarily lived in Indonesia (traveled for half a year), and now I permanently reside in the Republic of Kazakhstan and I have various documents confirming my address, which I can provide.

I was responsible for the Upwork rules and I am sure that I did not violate them. And today without any explanation you suspended my account FOREVER. I have always treated my clients with respect and with great responsibility to work. I have a lot of successfully completed contracts and all clients put 5 stars and wrote only positive feedback.

Recently, I am working with a long term client on a large project. I had video calls the client much times and revealed my identity to him. He was confident in my knowledge and my ability to accomplish any task he assigned in the shortest time possible. Even 1 hour before the suspending, I continued to work on his project. Also, I have been working on Upwork for less than 1 year and in the first 6 months I got Top Rated badge on my account and have 100% JSS on my profile.

I am ready to complete any verifications - video call or provide any documents to prove my identity. I very much want to continue working on such a great service as Upwork. I also want to finish the current project for my client. After getting suspended I even can't notify him about what happened.

I hope the request ID will help Upwork support team to identify my account:
#44456209 - information about the need to re-verify, that I have been verified and that my account is suspended.

I am sure there is some kind of mistake. I ask you to contact me and help me please to solve this unfair situation.

19.12.23 - I received an email notification that "In response to your concerns, we’ve completed another review of all the information available. In doing so we have concluded that your account will remain permanently deactivated."

I'm just shocked. I'm sure this is mistake. What exactly is wrong with my passport and why you are not able to verify my identity again? I have attached them a photo of my selfie and my passport, please look, this cannot be the wrong document. I just ask you to explain what I did wrong and give me a chance to do everything the right way.

I’m also under a lot of stress because I can’t withdraw my money. My Upwork balance had money from my last 2-3 months of work. I kept them on balance because I trusted your platform. That is all I have. I wanted to withdraw this soon but got a suspended account. I'm about to pay the bills for my apartment, but I'm not even sure that I have enough money to buy food... Please help me with this unfair situation. Can you send my balance to my Payoneer account set in my profile? Please give me steps that I could take to fix this problem. If I'm a fraudster, I would not save money for upwork. I am ready to provide any documents to help you verify my identity.

I want to ask why my brother’s question has remained unanswered from you for 4 days?

I think the entire Upwork community would be interested to know what happens to the available funds of a freelancer who was suspended by mistake and cannot receive support from Upwork.

If you don't know the answer to a question, you could tell it because it looks like the freelancer is still waiting for an answer from you. But you seem to just ignore him what looks wrong on your side as moderator.

Thank you for your patience and understanding regarding your brother's questions. For security reasons, I cannot access or share information about other user's accounts with you, but one possible explanation for the delay is the high volume of requests. We process all inquiries via a support ticket in the order they arrive in the queue, and sending multiple messages on the support ticket may affect the time taken to respond to your concern.

It seems you didn't fully read my message. As I said above, my brother received a response that he can not longer receive support from the upwork ticket. And my question is not about his profile. I'm interested to know and I think the whole Upwork community "What happens to the available funds of a freelancer who was permanently suspended"?
