Account Suspended

Please resolve my issue !!
I am not able to submit proposals as it says "you can't submit a proposal because your account is suspended.".
However, when I submitted an appeal to unsuspend my account they responded that my account is not suspended. Please resolve my issue.
I'm not getting a proper support on this. I've been only asked to clear cache & cookies & I've tried it several times but doesn't work. Also, the same issue persists on mobile app. There must be a technical issue then. Please investigate this matter.

Hi Hassaan,

 

If the action buttons that you usually use are grayed out, the Trust & Safety team may have suspended your account. In that case, you will have received a support ticket with an email notification about the action on your account. Please refer to your ticket on this page and reply to the email if you have any questions for the team.

Hi Imam,

 

Firstly, users are only allowed to have one account. Once the team finalizes a decision to block you from the platform permanently, it can no longer be reinstated.

 However, as instructed in one of the emails from the team here, if you believe this is an error from our end, you may respond to the email. While they will work to correct any errors, they may not respond to other requests.

 

I see that the team has provided you with more information about the issue of your Upwork account and why the team has taken action. We would genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding.

Hello, my account is been suspended for like 4 days now and I cant reach Upwork support. I have created a ticket with no luck of response. I uploaded my driver's license for ID verification purpose and my account still show suspended. Can anybody help me by guiding me on how to fix this issue, please? Thank you

Hi. I had the same problem earlier this year. Only submit one ticket for help. They do follow-up on those. Be sure you read all your Upwork mail and messages. If your questions aren't answered and your account isn't verified, be patient and get in touch with them again. For me it turned out that without saying so, Upwork intended for me to use a certain format to be verified. Frustrating, but ultimately fixed and account restored.

My account has been suspended due to payment issues, I'm supposed to pay a $5.25 bonus to a freelancer, but my credit card keeps blocking or deleting the payment. However, the problem is not with the credit card or with upwork, it tells me to contact the you, so how can I solve the problem, and I don't know how to contact upwork support via the site and not via community upwork

I expect a response as soon as possible.

apart from this, I would have preferred to contact upwork support directly from the site, but the green "support upwork" button at the bottom right, which I once had and used, is no longer there.Schermata 2023-10-31 alle 18.53.08.png

Hello, upwork.
I saw action required message last weekend and I saw account suspended message today, but as Upwork still showed message to verify ID, I did it and it was successful.
But upwork still shows account suspended message and I can't write proposals now.
What's this status please?
I will be happy if you explain about this and let me work here.

Hi, Arjay.

I didn't receive any message related with blocking my account, but just got Action required message to require upload my ID. 

But after a few days, I saw suspended message and uploaded ID card and verified successfully.

But now still showing suspended message.

I contacted with your team via the ticket but not answering yet.

What should I do to continue to use my account here?

I searched for an hour to contact support. My account is suspended because I had a payment returned. I replaced the payment and it went through but my account is still suspended and says contact support which seems impossible on this site.

Hi,

 

I keep getting emails that the payment did not go through. I have checked the creadit card and there is enough balance to clear the payment. 

 

I also see a message on the accout that the account is under review for KYC purposes. 

 

It has been over 4 days that the account is suspended and there is no way to ontact customer support at Upwork. 

 

Can someone please send a link for contacting support?

Hello,

New upwork user here. Verified my identity, added billing info, credit card, address, my company details, etc. Posted an ad with the help of upworks AI, then wanted to post another one but says that my account is suspended. Everything seems very glitchy.  There's a red warning that I need to verify my identity but when I click on it it takes me to a page that shows- everything is verified. No customer support as well. If I can't find a solution to all of this in an hour or so- will look for a different platform to find freelancers.

Some moderator will create ticket for you here when see your post.

You won't get solution within hour for sure. It will take days or weeks.

Financial transactions for my client account have been limited and I am not able to hire freelancers. One of my payments failed but I have added a new payment method and paid the outstandig balance. However, I the above limitation is still in place and I am not able to make hires. 

 

What is worse, the option to contact UpWork support is not there for me. There is no email, no phone and no chat. Can someone please help me? It is very frustrating.

I haven't used my Upwork freelancer account for a good few months however, I have used my client account almost daily.

I now see that my Upwork freelancer account is limited/restricted?

How do I lift this?

I see you've coordinated with the support team and been assisted accordingly. As also mentioned in your support ticketyour account was restored, and the restriction was lifted. You can now continue using your account like you usually do.
