Assistenza su Registrazione Auto Fatture per Azienda Italiana

ITA:

Buongiorno,

ENG:

Hello,

I represent an Italian company that uses Upwork to hire freelancers. We have a question regarding the correct procedure for registering self-invoices for services purchased on the platform. When we pay for a project milestone, the bank records the payment on the same day we receive the invoice from Upwork, so the dates match. Later, the freelancer sends us another personal invoice for the same amount, once we release the payment.

Our question is: for the self-invoicing registration, should we use the data and date from the Upwork invoice or from the personal invoice sent by the freelancer?

We would appreciate any clarification or guidance on how to properly handle this situation, in compliance with Italian tax regulations.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Anastasiya,

Apologies for the delay in responding to your post. It seems that your question is related to bookkeeping and tax filing. Please rest assured that we take great care to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded. However, it is important to note that we do not provide tax advice. We highly recommend that you consult with your office accountant for effective record-keeping, and reach out to a local tax advisor for any tax-related matters.

By seeking professional guidance, you can ensure that your accounts are well-maintained and that you are in full compliance with tax regulations. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or if there's anything else we can assist you with.

- Pradeep
