Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

Hi,

Dear Upwork Community,

I had set a payment method on Upwork with the correct bank account number but wrote the postal code in place of the postcode. Yesterday, I made a transaction but still have not received any payment. 

 

Please guide me. Is it a delay due to bank holidays, or is the payment transferred to another account?

If the transaction still hasn't reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know and we will assist you further. My withdrawal worth of $284.01 made on January 13th is still not reflected on my bank account. It is already 3 days delayed now.

 

Can you help me on this matter please?

Please note that Direct to Local Bank transaction is processed within four business days. If the transaction still hasn't reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know and we will assist you further. Please also take note that bank holidays both in the U.S, and your location may affect these withdrawals. I implemented the withdrawal of my money at 3 am (UTC) on 16 Jan 2023. For more than the last 24 hours, I only received the email "Payment confirmation", but didn't receive the "Payment has been processed" message and my money isn't still transferred into my Direct Local Bank account yet. That's quite weird and confusing to me. Normally, I know this process will be completed within 6 hours from the time I get paid from Upwork. I want to know about the status of my withdrawal, I don't know what happened with it. I also send a ticket to Upwork support but still not received feedback yet until now. Can you help me to check it? Thanks in advance.

Hi Tuan,

 

Thank you for reaching out. Generally, it takes up to four business days for the payment to be processed, it's just that most of the time the payments are processed early. This occurrence does not mean the payment is delayed. Note that the standard processing time will still be followed and bank holidays in the US and your country can affect the processing time for the payments.

 

I can see that you've already raised a support ticket regarding your concern. You can access your support tickets here. Note that support requests are responded to in the order they are received. Kindly allow 24-48 hours for the team to follow up with you and assist you further.

I effected a payment to my local bank since jan 9th and i got a notification email immediately that the payment has be processed but it's been over 9days now. the payment is yet to deliver to my local bank.

Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

Hi team, I need help I transfer money from my bank yesterday and did not recieved it call the bank and they say my account is close and they didn't received the transfer, Is there a way to refund it back to my upwork and use a different method

Why does my withdrawal is always rejected? The bank account is verified and accepting international transactions. Also I noticed that my payment method is automatically disabling even I don't change or update any information, can someone from upwork assist me?

Thank you for the information, I think I should review the bank account information because it keeps rejecting the payment and always returning to my Upwork Account.
