Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked and can confirm the transaction you're referring to was successful on our end. Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

After that, transfers will be processed the following business day. If the transaction still hasn't been reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know, and we will assist you further. Hi,

 

Hope you guys are doing great.

 

So I recently added a new bank account to my Direct to Local Bank Transfer list, and when I made a withdrawal of $350 a few days ago, it hasn't been processed yet. I've waited out the time of four business days, and I haven't even received a notification that says "Your payment has been processed." Please let me know if there has been any error on my end and what might the problem be.

 

I know I'm supposed to wait 8 days before sending a complain, but I'd just like to know if there has been a delay or if I accidentally sent my cash to some other account. Thanks!

I took the amount out on the 12th and today it is the 15th the amount for the transaction is still not added to my local bank account.

please look into this issue and get back ASAP.

It can take up to 5 days (working days, not calendar days) for money to reach your account, this is entirely up to the bank, not up to UpWork.  From experience I know that UpWork transfers immediately.

 

One issue I can see is that you transferred the money on a Friday, depending on the time of day you processed the transaction this can cause additional delays at the bank (stupid? absolutely).  I never transfer funds on a Friday, I transfer them on Monday early morning instead which means that the funds arrive in my account by Tuesday, latest Wednesday (so 1-2 days post transfer).  Money transferred on a Friday can take up to a week to arrive (usually Thursday or the following Friday), this is due to antiquated banking systems, not UpWork.

 

Actually some things I can add here, when you perform a transfer, UpWork will email you twice:

 

1. The first email is called Payment Confirmation this is a confirmation that you have requested a payment, this usually arrives within minutes from giving the instructions on UpWork.

2. The second email is called Your Payment Has Been Processed this is the confirmation that UpWork has made the payment you requested and contains details of the bank, exchange rate, amount, etc. this is usually a few hours after the confirmation email and this is effective after UpWork has made the payment.

 

If you have received both emails then UpWork has done its part, the only party to contact after this is your local bank.

Took out the payment on 10th may and Today is 15th May, still haven't received the payment in my bank account.

This is the first time it happened, otherwise upowrk used to process the payment instantly or in a day or so.

I accidentally withdrew my earnings to the incorrect bank account which was already closed. What will happen to my earnings and what should I do? Should I also wait for the my earnings to return before I delete the incorrect bank account?

You can go ahead and remove that payment method to prevent this from happening again. Your funds should return to your Upwork account after they fail to be delivered to the closed bank account. If more than 8 business days have passed and you still haven't received your funds, please let us know!

I have withdrawal my funds to my local bank on 17th May 2023 and don't receive my payments in my local bank, I have also called my bank and they asked that there be no payments received from Upwork

Usually I receive 2 emails after payment requested

 

(1) Payment Confirmation

(2) Your payment has been processed.

 

Today I only received the 1st email, which means my payment has not been processed to my selected bank account

 

I tried support, but the bot is uselss, keeps asking the same questions, therefore my issues not resolved

Hi there! I have requested a SWIFT transfer to my bank account in Ghana but still didn't receive it. My bank is asking me to provide a SWIFT confirmation. I was not able to find it in my account. Can someone please advise how I can get it?

I'm waiting for my withdraw from Upwork to my Wise account yet to receive and it's been maybe 4 or almost days waiting and I don't know the status of the transaction?! I need to have more info even if I've done something wrong or for how much longer do I have to wait?

Hi. Normally when the client pays on time, as I qualify for Faster payouts, my money is available for me to withdraw at the ATM on Friday between 11 am and 5 pm. But this time, no, no. I waited until Frday at 6 pmwaited untilo midnight, then to midnight after Sunday, and none. This time, and no. and I had a payment due today. Upwork should say to wait eight long days, but sometimes we are at the day. What could have happened to the money that I suppose is mine. I have enough extra economic tensions this time as of to sum up the money issue. And today is baaank holiday in the US..., so probably my bank request is like not happening now, although my destination bank is in Mexico, not in the US.

Great!. Like my force of thinking, or I don't know, but my payment is now in my account.

Hello!

Can someone please tell me what to do? I withdrew money on Sunday from a fixed-price task. I expected to have it in my bank yesterday, but here we are at lunch hour local time and still no money. It never took 4 business days for the money to reach my bank. 

If tomorrow also doesn't happen I'll have to wait until the 6th - Romania made this year a short bank holiday out of June 1st (International Day of the Children) /facepalm because they work SO hard /sarcasm

I transfered my funds with option direct to local bank,I contacted the bank and they said they are refunding the amount to upwork due to some mismatch, as i could not chane one digit missing in my number I added another method , teh refunded amount is not showing on my upwork account and was wondering when will it be available

Yesterday! I withdraw money from my account to directly local bank without using payoneer. I called my helpline and ask about payment they said upwork didnt send us any money..how can i get to know when will i will received it?
