Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Hi Morrison,

 

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked and can confirm the transaction you're referring to was successful on our end. Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

Hello everyone,

I encountered an issue with a direct bank withdrawal today. Typically, I perform this withdrawal every Thursday, with the expected delivery date starting on Friday. Consistently, I receive my funds on Fridays.

However, today, on October 1st, I attempted my usual withdrawal and received an expected delivery date range between November 8th and November 10th, 2023. I'm unsure about the problem I'm facing. The attached photos include emails from both today and last week.

Hi Ismail,

 

Thank you for reaching out. Please keep in mind that local and US Bank Holidays may delay your funds. With that said, there are Holidays for the rest of the week for some countries, then the weekend, so the funds would most likely be processed by next week.

Same here too , I think the problem is from upwork ,I also made a withdrawal which am expecting to have been credited at the available time , but today is the third day and am yet to receive anything

I made withdrawal on the 1st of November from my upwork account into my Geegpay account, since I’ve not received the money in my Geegpay account.

 

Please help! How long will it take for me to get the money into my Geegpay account?

Hi Peace,

 

I checked the fund withdrawal you are referring to and I see that it was successfully initiated on your Upwork account. Direct to Local Bank transaction is processed within four business days. If the transaction still hasn't reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know and we will assist you further. Please also take note that bank holidays both in the U.S, and your location may affect these withdrawals. Hi Pradeep,

Can you help me? I have a similar issue, I made a withdrawal on the 21st of October and the money has not arrived yet. The useless chat bot said some agent will contact me via email but I got no response in 2 days. Every withdrawal I made after was on my bank account within 1-2 business days, but that one is missing in action. 🙂

Hi,

I pressed the "Get Paid Now" button to transfer my payment to my local bank account. I received two notifications, as usual, from Upwork:

 

"You requested payment of $13.50 from Upwork via Direct to Local Bank transfer account."
"Your payment on 04-Nov-2023 has been processed."

However, I still haven't received the payment in my local bank account. I also contacted the local bank's customer care, and they informed me that they have not received any amount from Upwork. It has been almost 24 hours now.

 

What should I do next?

I'm glad to hear that you've already received your funds. In general,  In general, direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. If after 8 business days, the funds are still not reflected in your account, you may reach out to us so we can initiate a trace for you.

i got Your payment of $17.01 via Direct to Local Bank Transfer account failed, and the money has been credited back to your Upwork account., when trying to re enable the payment and withdraw again give me faild to withdraw and cant send my money to my local bank account

Hi! I need help please. It's been 3 days and I haven't received any email confirming me that the payment I requested is already processed. I am getting anxious about it because usually it only takes a few hours before I can receive my payment directly to my bank. The email that says it's already processed usually comes after the email confirmation. I hope you can help me solve this. Thank you!

Recently, on 3rd November I requested a payment Widrew from Upwork to my  ACH bank account but on November 3rd due to the change of my account details, they gave me an email writing that, Due to the recent change of my ACH account details they have sent back the payment to Upwork Escrow but in the payment is not in my Upwork account? when I will have my money back in my Upwork account?

Hi Abul,

 

Direct to Local Bank transaction is processed within four business days. In case the fund was rejected due to incorrect or invalid details, it will be reversed to your Upwork account within 8 business days. If the transaction still hasn't reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know and we will assist you further.

I withdraw money from my Upwork account on Nov 3rd and received a notification and email from Upwork stating that the payment had been processed. However, as of nov 6th, I still have not received the balance in my local bank account.

 

Please help me on this.

Hi,

 

I withdrew my payment on the 3rd of November at 8:00 AM IST, but as of now, it is the 6th of November, 2023, 5:30 PM IST, and I still haven't received my payment. I have never experienced such a delay in receiving my payments after withdrawal. Is it just me, or are other freelancers from India also facing the same issue? I would appreciate the assistance of the concerned authority in escalating my query to the relevant department. I need this payment as soon as possible. Is there any solution?
