Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Hi Morrison,

 

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked and can confirm the transaction you're referring to was successful on our end. Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

My payment has been relased on nov 23 but it's 29 and it don't shown on my bank account , could you please help me in this.

Hi Deepanshu,

 

Please note that Direct to Local Bank transactions take up to four business days to arrive at your bank. There is a 12:00 pm (noon) UTC cutoff time for same-day processing. After that, transfers will be processed the following business day. If the transaction still hasn't been reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know, and we will assist you further.

Please also note that bank holidays in the U.S. and your location may affect these withdrawals. In the meantime, please read this help article for more information about Direct to Local Bank Timing and Fees.

actually I did transaction on 22 nov and still I dont get my payment ,

I understand the withdrawal was initiated on November 22nd. Feel free to reach us if you do not receive your funds after 8 business days.

I did a transaction on 22nd November 2023 ..Received a confirmation email from Upwork as " payment is processed" but the amount hasn't hit my account as yet..Is it just me? or is someone also facing the same issue here?

Hi Muhammad,

 

I do not see a transaction on our end from November 22nd. Can you please double-check this on your transaction history page? The withdrawal you processed should be visible from there.

Please let us know if, after eight business days (by Tuesday/05- December), the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

This is the second time my payment has been rejected and returned to my Upwork account. I contacted Upwork, and they advised me to contact the bank.i contact the bank to discuss all the problems. The bank states that on their side, there is no issue, and they recommend reaching out to Upwork again

I do it via paypal. 
Also I recently learned about Wise.
If the bank issue is bening continued I think considering any of them might help.

Also, I believe one issue might be, your bank need an approval or something for oversea transfer

Thank you for contacting us regarding the withdrawal issue you encountered. I have reviewed the transaction you mentioned and found that it was declined by the bank. This may occur when your payment details are incorrect or invalid. Please reach out to your bank again to confirm your bank details. Then, please delete the payment method you added to your Upwork account and re-add the payment method with the accurate details. Once your new payment method is active, you can attempt to withdraw again.

Hello, I used the BRSTN of China Bank Corp (my account is CHINA BANK SAVINGS). However, still get my funds. I withdrew it last Friday.

Hi, my payment withdrawal was successfully processed two days ago I transfered it directly to my bank account, the problem is until now my payment was not showing on my bank account it was not yet been come in my account. Is there a way I can contact or there's support to this from Upwork? If the delay is more than 6 days?

Good day!

I withdrew my payment last Saturday morning and until now l have not yet received it. Usually it takes 2-3 hrs to receive my payment but for some reason my withdrawal last Saturday was delayed. 

Can someone kindly assist me on this? Thanks!

Typically, I receive requested withdrawals within 12 hours, but this time it has been more than 30 hours without receiving it. Can someone please provide assistance or information regarding the delay in processing? Thank you.

I checked the fund withdrawal you are referring to and noticed that it was initiated on Dec 2nd. Your Direct to Local Bank withdrawal should be completed within four business days. If you don't see the funds in your account after eight business days, please contact us and we will help you resolve the issue. Please be aware that bank holidays in the U.S. and your country may delay these withdrawals.

Hi Irina,

 

Upon checking here, I see that the withdrawal you're referring to last December 1, 2023, UTC  has been processed successfully on our end. If you have not received the funds yet, please be advised that funds will arrive in your bank account within two to five business days from ACH deposits (Automatic Clearing House). Processing and clearing times vary widely from bank to bank. Bank holidays can also delay your funds. 
 
That said, Upwork can trace a missing payment for you at no charge, however, you must wait for five (5) full business days after the withdrawal date to initiate the trace.  If your funds have not arrived after this period, please let me know so we can trace your withdrawn funds to our Payment team.  We can start initiating a trace on December 11, 2023, UTC.

 

Feel free to update your ticket on this page if you still haven't received the funds; we'll look further into that for you.
