Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

I agree with you that NEFT and online transactions should not be affected by holidays.
29 March 2024 was indeed a holiday, but Upwork did process the wirhdrawal (for which it needed to interact with the Indian bank or its affiliate).

If you look at the confirmation email you received from Upwork, you will see this statement near the end:

"Please contact your bank to get the exact deposit date in case of delay. If an issue arises, we can trace a missing payment for you at no charge after 8 business days." (emphasis mine)

I would like to ask for some help regarding my withdrawal using a direct bank, I managed to withdraw my earnings on March 18, 2024, but still now (April 1, 2024) I have not received my earnings and already checked my bank account, I reach out already using Upwork online support but they don't give me updates about it, after that I double check again my withdrawal history I notice the transaction was been erase cause it says "You haven’t made any withdrawals yet." and my available balance is 0, I just wanted some updates on it. 

When you send money to the local bank directly, you receive two emails, 1 to inform you that the process has started and the other to tell you that the payment is confirmed which indicates that the money is from Upwork side, Have you received these emails ? 

Yes, Sir, I received the two emails, the one says "You requested payment from Upwork via Direct to Local Bank transfer account." and the other one says "We have processed your payment request submitted on 18-Mar-2024. Your payment may take up to 5 business days to arrive at your bank"

I withdrew money from Upwork at 5:36 AM (IST) [12:06 AM (UTC)] on Friday, 29 March 2024.

 

I received the confirmation email from Upwork at 10:55 AM (IST) [5:25 AM (UTC)] on the same day

 

The money has not yet arrived in my bank.

I have received my payment, but I seem to have received somewhat less (just Rs 10.05) than the expected amount.

 

Upwork always provides a disclaimer: This amount does not include any fees your bank may deduct.

 

But in the past, there has not been any deduction by the bank, and I have always gotten the amount calculated using the provided exchange rate.

Hi. Appreciate it if you can help me as well. I withdrew my funds yesterday April 2, 2024 and typically it will reflect to my account after 2 hours. Until now, I have not received it. Please help as I needed the funds very badly. If you could help me raise a ticket for this please.

I checked and can confirm the transaction you're referring to was successful on our end. Please refer to the information shared in my previous response. Direct to local bank transfers may take up to 7 business days before the funds are reflected in your account. If after 8 business days, the funds are still not reflected in your account let us know and we will initiate a trace for you.

If your earnings have been sent to a closed bank account, they will usually be returned to your Upwork account if the transfer fails. Hello, I tried withdrawing from Upwork, and the payment method was disabled. The first time, it was due to invalid bank details. The second time, I had to re enable it. Now, the third time, the money was refunded again, with my payment disabled. Pls, help.

I've requested a Direct to Local Bank Transfer on 9 AM (GMT-3) on Monday, April 8th, and until now I've not received any kind of update. Ref ID 683127830

I've only got this message in my e-mail:

 

"Hi Vinicius, You requested payment of $615.51 from Upwork via Direct to Local Bank transfer account. Contact Upwork Support if this request was not authorized."

 

I'm wondering if there's anything wrong going on, as there's no holiday on both countries and by now I should've already received the money.

Hi, I'm from the Philippines and it's my first time processing a withdrawal from Upwork to Security Bank. I need to know when I'll get the money. I've read that it might take 4 days before it loads successfully. Is this correct? Is there any way to expedite payment at all?

The transfer varies from bank to bank but generally 2-6 business days is normal. My bank in the USA takes 3-5 business days.

Yeah! it might take 3-4 days depends on the time you have withdrew the amount. If i happen to withdraw my payment in the middle of the week, then it takes around 5-6 days because they have credited into my bank account but since Indian banks are closed on sat-sunday, so it takes time to reflect the balance on my bank account.

After that, transfers will be processed the following business day.
