Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked and can confirm the transaction you're referring to was successful on our end. Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

I see that you contacted our support teama and raised a ticket about your concern. We totally understand how you want your funds to reflect on your account immediately. Also, I can confirm that we don't have any known issues related to withdrawals at the moment so this should be processed soon.

 

However, as mentioned by one of the team members on the ticket, processing, and crediting of funds may take up to 4 business days to process but most of the time, it's quicker. also don't have any known issues related to withdrawals so this should be processed soon. You can check this link as a guide, Direct to Local Bank Fees and Timing.

 

You can let us know by updating your ticket here if you still haven't received the funds after eight business days and we'll look further into that for you.

I requested payment from my agency on 10th august and got payment confirmation email. Though I still have not received payment in my local Bank. Also, I did not received payment processed email from upwork. I consider this delay is from upwork. I want to know if this is problem with my bank or not, so I can contact them and resolve this. Upwork usually takes 3 to 5 hours for payments in my same account through freelancers account. This payment I did was my first from the agency and have not received it yet.

Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

Hello Upwork Community. I work as a freelancer for 40 hours a week and my contract is held here by upwork. Rignt now, I recieve my funds weekly on Wednesday. So basically, every wednesday I recieve my weekly payment according to my Upwork Tracker hours. 

 

Also, always before I recieve I get two emails: one with the subject Payment Confirmation, and then I recieve the Payment Processed email. This usually happens on wednesday and when I get the "Payment Processed" email, my fund usually  arrive to my bank account in a couple of hours. All of the times I had some issue with payment and withdraw here on Upwork I did not recieve the "Payment Processed" email. So when this happens I already expect that my payment will be delayed for some reason.

 

But in this Wednesday (08/09) I recieved the "Payment Processed" email, saying that the funds would arrive at my account, but so far I have not recieved any amout. Is there any person whom I should talk to? This is a bank matter or a upwork matter? How can I solve it, since I need the money asap?

Hi Luiggi. First of all, I appreciate the help and the attention. Thank you!

 

On the "Payment Processed" email it said that the funds might take untill monday (08/14) to be on my bank account. If something happens and the funds are still not available, I'll reach out to you once again, just so I can have some idea on when to expect the money. Because this wednesday I'm also suposed to recieve another amout.

Oh, and please note that I'm only manifesting my concerns because the transaction to my bank account is always made a few hours after I get the ''Payment Processed" email. This is the first time that this is happening to me.

Hi Luiggi! Still nothing on my bank account, and according to the "Payment Processed" email, I should be getting my funds today. I see that more people have the same issue. They recieved the Payment Processed email but not the payment. I really need it by wednesday. What should I do?

Hello Upwork Team,

I withdrew money from my Upwork account today morning at 9 am IST, but the payment is still not reflected in my bank account at 6 pm IST. I am concerned since this is the first time it has taken this long for the amount to reflect in my bank account. Earlier, whenever I withdrew money I received payment within a few hours. 

Please clear my issue that why this is taking so long and how much it usually takes for the payment to reflect in my account. Also, I hope that there is no issue and I won't have to contact Upwork, but in case it does not reflect even after a long period Where do I need to complain, and how long will it take for the issue to be resolved?

Okay Pradeep, Thanks. I checked with my bank and they are not able to give any info. Also, this is my first time facing this kind of payment-related issue on Upwork, so I am more anxious. Also, I can see there are many people who are facing this issue on Upwork including one of my known people. So, I think there is definitely some issue from Upwork's end since so many people are facing the same kind of problem. 

If possible please take some action so that we can receive our payment.

I understand your concern, Shraddha. While I understand you may be getting the funds earlier but the standard time to process a Direct to Local Bank fund withdrawal is four business days. We can initiate a fund tracing only if the transaction does not reflect on your account after eight business days. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause to you.

I withdrew 24hrs ago but I haven't received it yet. My bank account is a new method and this ismy first time withdrewing from here. I had a previous experience where my new method was reflected before the day ends. Reference number is 610929202

Hello,

Yesterday (Aug 16), in my Billings section a payment was processed and money wirthdrawn from the client (withdrawl fee also processed). But the issue is it that the money is not reflecting in my bank account even today (Aug 17). 

 

How can I raise a complaint or reach out to someone concerned? Please help.

I am also facing the same issue. As per the Upwork, we need to wait for the 8 days. And if its not credited in 8 days, we may raise the request in Upwork help desk.

Ouh ok, thanks for your explanation. Is it your first withdrawal? It is my first withdrawal, so I am curious and worried at the same time.

It's $0 because you have already requested the withdrawal. It takes upwork upto 24 hrs to process the payment, sometimes more or less. Since this is your first withdrawal you shouldn't be worried, payments are usually reflected in the accounts within 3 working days.

I haven't received my payment confirmation email, which I usually get right away when clicking the "get paid button", is there any way to see if the email was not sent or if it's still processing? (I'm talking about the payment confirmation, not payment processed email

I understand how important it is to receive this email. I checked and I can confirm that the payment confirmation and payment processed emails were sent to the registered email address. I recommend checking your Junk/spam folder to make sure the email wasn't sent there.

I withdraw from my Upwork account last August 20, 2023 and until now the money was not transferred to my local bank account(Philippines). I checked my local bank details and noticed that I've mistakenly added my CARD NUMBER instead of ACCOUNT NUMBER. Please enlighten me and help me with what to do next.

The funds will be sent to the payment method on file but if there are any issues with the bank account such as incorrect information, the funds will be returned to Upwork and once this has happened, rest assured that we will immediately credit the funds to your account.
