Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked and can confirm the transaction you're referring to was successful on our end. Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

I hope that everyone's is doing great. I withdrawal my amount about 3-4 hourse ago from upwork but did not received it in my local bank. Can anyone knows me how much it takes time to receive in my bank? this is my first earning from upwork.

Please note that Direct to Local Bank transactions take up to seven business days to arrive at your bank. There is a 12:00 pm (noon) UTC cutoff time for same-day processing. After that, transfers will be processed the following business day. If the transaction still hasn't been reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know, and we will assist you further.

I submitted payment withdrawal on March 18, then on March 19 I received a mail stating my payment is being processed and that it will arrive at my local bank between the date of 21 to 25 of March. And this is March 27 I still haven't received any payments in my local bank.

Hi,

I requested for a withdrawal on my account on the 18th of March , and i was told to expect it within 21 to 25th of March , it's been 8 days already and still haven't seen it. Please I would like to initiate a retrace to know where the fault is.

My Client paid me the amount of $100+, then I linked my local bank Account to withdraw At that time it was showing me the balance before withdrawl, but after some days I couldn't find that amount , and there is no notification from bank about the payment is recieved from  the upwork. Now what should I do , I cannot find the transaction history on the upwork, so I can find where the money  is dipatched too. It's giving me vibes of loosing the amount. What should I do now help me please.

Are you referring to the job titled "Smart-contract developer with experience creating indexer"? If so, I can see that you processed a withdrawal for your earnings on Jan 31, 2024, and it appears successful on our end. Direct to Local Bank withdrawals can take up to seven business days to arrive at your bank. With these dates in mind, could you consult with your bank if you received those funds? If not, please let us know so we can assist you further.

I have entered Swiftcode that includes BankName only not the branch Name along.And what If I entered post code same as postal code ? Did I made a mistake?

I have clearly checked my account , I haven't received such payment in those days, could you or the upwork team provide me along with the transaction statement from upwork to my bank? if so then share me personally to my dm.

I withdrew the payment to my local bank today, but I haven't received it in my bank account yet. Normally, it only takes 1 to 3 hours to receive the funds.kindly help what to do..?

I requested a payment on Friday morning. And later I received email from Upwork that your payment has been processed. But still I didn't receive any payment in my local bank account. 

Same issue. Has been more than 24 hours for me.

You have requested your payment on a weekend, it takes atleast one business day. It should reflect in your account on or before following tuesday.

Hi,

 

My payment was available to me on Friday 29th March 24. I immediately processed the payment and transferred it to my account just like I do every Friday. However, It's Saturday early morning 30th March-24 and I have still not received my payment in my local bank account. Usually, it takes a few hours till I receive it in my account. I'm slightly worried, I contacted the local bank and they said they cannot see any payment on hold or blocked so can anyone help me, please? 

Facing the same issue. Withdrew amount as I always do on Fridays and still haven't received it 24 hours later, which is unusual because it usually takes somewhere between 5 minutes to 5 hours. Some clarification would be great.

 

P.S there's a rumor circulating that its the Pakistan govt. that is delaying payments? would be interesting to see if that's the case.

I have withdraw payment on Friday, but Today is Monday, but I have not recievd Payment at my localbank, Notification showing that, Payament have been processed, but still I have not received, I have call to local bank they said, they have not recieve any payment.

As the payment was processed by Upwork, only two things could have gone wrong:

 

1) Your local bank (or its international affiliate) is delaying the payment. This could be because of the holidays (Easter Friday, Easter Sunday, Bank Closing on 1 April).

 

2) Your local bank could have rejected the payment. Incredibly, that has happened to me once. If that happens, your payment (minus the 99 cents for withdrawal) is returned to Upwork. So check to see if funds have been returned to Upwork.

 

Also note that though the payment usually reaches the local bank within a few hours after it has been processsed by Upwork (if the withdrawal is done early in the day and processed by noon), Upwork does state: โ€œWe have processed your payment request submitted on 29-Mar-2024. Your payment may take up to 5 business days to arrive at your bank.โ€

Thanks Ravindra fro the response. Money is still not credited to my bank account. I talked to the bank and they dont find any transaction done by the upwork or its alleids on the said date. According to them, if the Upwork has processed the money on friday, it could have credited on the same day itself, as the NEFT and online transactions were not affected by the bank holidays. I dont know, where my hard earned money went.
