Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

Hi Pradeep,

I appreciate your response. I usually receive my funds in my local bank account within few hours of withdrawing on every other Fridays. The thing is that I havenโ€™t even received any โ€œwithdraw processedโ€ emails as of now. Which means that Upwork hasnโ€™t even processed yet. I donโ€™t think that Friday was a holyday in the US. So, I donโ€™t know what the delay is. ๐Ÿ™‚

In my case I have received the Payment processed email but not received the funds, I checked with the bank but they said no payments in my account

I have mistaken in putting bank account number in my payment method ๐Ÿ˜ž I put the my card bank number instead of Bank account number ๐Ÿ˜ž the money has been widthrawn and i don't know what to do. How to get my money back? Please send help, its my first pay in upwork ๐Ÿ˜ž

It will be returned after bank reject. Or you can contact bank and specify details to receive payments with wrong info.

Then remove it and add correct info.

I today withdrew to direct bank, Naya pay, what if my payment method declines? Because i got no incoming message on naya pay, I don't know how much to wait and things

How many hours has it been,and it might be network and if it is declined it will be returned to your account so you don't have to be afraid

Hi, I initiated a withdrawal status on June 2 but wasn't credited to my account. I called the bank but I found out they automatically closed my account because the balance is zero. I have no idea they will do this because it's just this week that it went to zero. My question is will Upwork return the funds I withdrew to my balance because the transaction will not push from my bank's end because the account is already closed. Can someone help me trace my the withdrawn funds? Thank you.

How come getting your funds directly to your local bank take this long now that we are at a digital age?

I checked your account and it looks like our support team has already assisted you via a support ticket. However, as an FYI for our Community members, I'll be reiterating and sharing the same information.

 

International payments flow through several international and local banks before reaching you. In some cases, an intermediary or local bank in your country might put a temporary hold on payment for any number of reasons. The amount of time it takes to receive payment can vary depending on banking regulations in your country.
 
That said, if more than 8 business days pass and your funds have not been deposited into your account, you may report it to us so we can initiate a trace to try to locate the funds.

I have the EXACT same problem and I get the same answer you did... let's hope it's just the holiday delay!

As per usual Upwork sent me my weekly email notification on the 31st that the funds of transactions 587981737 and 587981726 had been transferred to my local bank but to date I have not received said funds. When I contacted my bank, they have no record of any transfer attempts and Upwork just says there may be delays because of the holiday... but a week?! Please help!!

It's now been 5 days since the suppossed transfer to my bank account here! It was sent on the 31st and it is now the 7th of June! I understand you say it was successful on your end, but my bank here says until they receive funds here there is nothing they can do... I will wait till the 8 business days (I hope it doesn't come to that!)

It's my first time to receive my pay and I just received a notification that my scheduled payment has been directed to my local bank account but none seem to have been reflected. I also looked into other accounts that experienced the same thing.

 

It was mentioned that it usually takes up to 4 days before it is reflected in one's bank. Is there any way we can expedite this and moving forward, does it usually take 4 days or does it only happen when it's the first time? Thank you so much! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello, 


I withdraw my funds June 7 at around 2pm (Vietnam time) via local bank transfer. I was informed of the withdrawal by email. The issue I've been having is that I haven't received the "payment has been processed" email yet. I usually get the email in the evening of the same day, but I haven't gotten one in a while.

Can I get a little help?

Hi!

 

I just need help with my payment issues and how to solve this.

My funds were sent to a closed bank account, and the bank confirmed that they rejected the money on the same hour upwork sent the funds. A bank will not hold funds if the account is closed. Immediately, it will be sent right back to upwork. So the problem here is that I have not received my available funds yet and upwork refuses to trace the pay if it's not 7 working business days. All I need is for upwork to trace the funds because the bank confirmed that it was sent back to them the exact same day. Is it necessary to wait for 7 days even if it has been confirmed that the money has been sent back? Do we have alternative help for this?

 

I just need the assurance and also to know when the pay will be put back to my available funds.

It usually takes those 7 days for the funds to show back on your Upwork account. I can see you submitted a support ticket with the team already. Please avoid creating several tickets or posts for the same concern so that the team could assist you more efficiently. Thank you!

Hello,I had withdrawn my funds on 6 June.Received the processing done mail , with estimated due time from 7 to 9 June to reflect the amount in my account.

Today is 10.I haven't received the money yet. 

 

I have withdrawn funds regularly in the same account before.It has always been on time and within due dates.

Hi! I have been having the exact same problem for a couple of payment cycles now... Upwork keeps giving me the same answer, as does my bank here. Eventually the payment is going through, 4 days later than it used to! My bank says maybe Upwork is using a new 3rd party to do the transfers? It is highly unnnoying and inconsistent. It would be nice if we could have an explanation for these issues we all seem to be having.

I withdrew funds from my upwork count via a bank transfer and haven't received the funds yet. It normally takes 24 hours max but this time round it's been almost a week. I don't know if the problem is with Upwork or my local bank. Before I go to my bank I need some kind of proof from Upwork that they sent the money in the first place.

How long it takes to get the payment from ending state to available? As i am still waiting after 10 days.

 

There should be a date to the left of the payment in your list of pending payments. That is when the funds will be available. If there is no date, Upwork hasn't yet cleared the payment from the client.

Having been on this platform for about 9 years I've noticed that response time is getting worse by the day. Apart from the poor customer support (chat is never available, can wait days for response), now payments are taking a ridiculous amount of time to process. I withdrew my earnings 11 hours ago and still no processing. It's bad enough that Upwork hold onto our earnings for five days and up to ten days for hourly payments so payment withdrawals should be immediate. Anyone else suffering?
