Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

I initiated a withdrawl on 23 Nov 2023 but the same amount has still not been reflected into my bank account. I already have received the processing confirmation on my email id on 24 Nov but the money is still not reflected into my account. Please check and suggest the details. 

If you receive processing email confirmation, 

- Check with Bank first why the payment is not received.

 

If the issue still persist,

- Raise Upwork Support Request. They will definately help!

There is no problem with the bank account which has already been confirmed and I am receiving payments from other platforms promptly. I am seeing that there is some glitch in payment processing because lots of freelancers seem to be facing similar issue.

Thanks for the confirmation. Could you please share me the complete details from which account and to which account the payment has been transferred so that I can discuss with my bank more about this issue?

The payment has been declined without any detailed reason.

I have reentered all the details for the new bank account and still it suggestes again beneficiary name mismatch .

I dont understand regarding this problem which many people are facing on the platform recently

Please note that Direct to Local Bank transactions take up to four business days to arrive at your bank. There is a 12:00 pm (noon) UTC cutoff time for same-day processing. After that, transfers will be processed the following business day. If the transaction still hasn't been reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know, and we will assist you further.

I did a transaction on 22nd November 2023 ..Received a confirmation email from Upwork as " payment is processed" but the amount hasn't hit my account as yet..Is it just me? or is someone also facing the same issue here?

I do not see a transaction on our end from November 22nd. Can you please double-check this on your transaction history page? The withdrawal you processed should be visible from there.

This is the second time my payment has been rejected and returned to my Upwork account. I contacted Upwork, and they advised me to contact the bank.i contact the bank to discuss all the problems. The bank states that on their side, there is no issue, and they recommend reaching out to Upwork again

Also I recently learned about Wise.
If the bank issue is bening continued I think considering any of them might help.

Also, I believe one issue might be, your bank need an approval or something for oversea transfer

Once your new payment method is active, you can attempt to withdraw again.

Hi, my payment withdrawal was successfully processed two days ago I transfered it directly to my bank account, the problem is until now my payment was not showing on my bank account it was not yet been come in my account. I withdrew my payment last Saturday morning and until now l have not yet received it. Usually it takes 2-3 hrs to receive my payment but for some reason my withdrawal last Saturday was delayed.

Typically, I receive requested withdrawals within 12 hours, but this time it has been more than 30 hours without receiving it. Can someone please provide assistance or information regarding the delay in processing? Thank you.

Hi Irina,

 

Upon checking here, I see that the withdrawal you're referring to last December 1, 2023, UTC  has been processed successfully on our end. If you have not received the funds yet, please be advised that funds will arrive in your bank account within two to five business days from ACH deposits (Automatic Clearing House). Processing and clearing times vary widely from bank to bank. Bank holidays can also delay your funds. 
 
That said, Upwork can trace a missing payment for you at no charge, however, you must wait for five (5) full business days after the withdrawal date to initiate the trace.  If your funds have not arrived after this period, please let me know so we can trace your withdrawn funds to our Payment team.  We can start initiating a trace on December 11, 2023, UTC.

 

Feel free to update your ticket on this page if you still haven't received the funds; we'll look further into that for you.
