Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked and can confirm the transaction you're referring to was successful on our end. Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

I also assumed we weren't the only ones facing this issue, but it's strange that there aren't more discussions about it on the forum.

There's still the 8 days waiting time and most will probably sit it out - or have already contacted Upwork support privately. Remember that it's Christmas and people might be busy with other things. I am sure the money will come at some point.

They are starting to show up. 

I was just wanted to join the crowd. I requested a transfer to a local German bank on Friday, but I haven't received anything yet. So, we are all in waiting mode it seems.

Hello ,

I transfer my Upwork payment to my local bank account directly. Almost 3 days gone but I couldn't receive it . 

I have the same issue. I made a withdrawal on December 15 (Friday), and it still hasn't reached my local bank account. I usually get Friday's withdrawals on Mondays.

I contacted my bank and they confirmed that there are no issues from their side, also mentioned that I am not the first one who is looking for upwork payment ๐Ÿ˜•

Same answer from mine but that doesn't make the problem less serious. 

Sure, it remains serious, Christmas surprise from upwork.

I checked the transaction you are referring to and noticed that the fund withdrawal was initiated on Dec 20th. Direct to Local Bank transactions are processed within four business days. If the transaction still hasn't been reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know and we will assist you further. Please also take note that bank holidays both in the U.S, and your location may affect these withdrawals. In the meantime, please check this help article for more information about Direct to Local Bank Timing and Fees.

Same here. I'm Top Rated Plus for years and all this has never been an issue before. This is really sad, because I used to rely on Upwork and made lots of money. I have jobs from other sources now, but still really good customers from years ago with Upwork, but they make it more and more impossible. And that especially before Christmas.

I'm here too! ๐Ÿซค Please don't forget about me, no matter the amount we count on our earnings! It's just unfair and if I get into the credits and bidding issues I will become a nuisance... I don't see why I should pay to get a job.

I'm fine to pay *something* because it's a great way for freelancers to get jobs and build a reputation. Like a monthly member fee, but the membership they offer doesn't give you a lot and you still don't get more jobs or invitations, AND you have to pay fees on every job (still okay with that, if they are reasonable).

I subscribe to that, but I have been receiving many invitations to fix something another person broke many many times, and the number is getting bigger and bigger every day... seems that quality is no longer a priority. Just become another 'AI assistant', keep paying to participate, keep paying for 'AI' and you're good to go.

Hi all.
I also requested payment on 15 December (Friday) - no money arrived yet. Usually they come on Monday or Tuesday (Bulgaria, EU). This is totally unacceptable. Some people may need this money just before the holidays!

Should we worry? Do you think we won't get that money? I was trying to set up my PayPal account to see if at least get the money that I'm pending tomorrow. But apparently, my name on Upwork doesn't match the name on my Paypal and it does. I don't know what to do.

Have you tried to set up Paypal with the same email address you use for Upwork?

Yes. The same email, the same adress.

Now that is weird. I know I probably it might sound like one of these platitudes, but could you try to empty your cookies in your browser and try again? I know I had some problems with Paypal as I used another email for on Upwork, but Paypal allowed me to add other email addresses. I know, however, that some Paypal issues can be solved with simply emptying cookies from the browser and restart the device.

and right on top you'll see (green button): New Topic. Describe your problem and hopefully someone more competent than me will come along. There's also a fair chance that someone from Upwork picks it up and gets you a real person in Support.

On Monday I received the 'payment processed' email for two payments I got over the weekend. Usually it takes about 24 hours for it to show in my account, but it has been 3 days now with nothing. 

 

Is this an issue that anyone else is having? Will it be sorted before Christmas?

I'm sorry you haven't received your funds yet, and I understand you're used to receiving them quickly. I want to clarify that Direct to Local Bank transactions take up to four business days to arrive at your bank. There is a 12:00 pm (noon) UTC cutoff time for same-day processing. After that, transfers will be processed the following business day. If the transaction still hasn't been reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know, and we will assist you further.
