Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Hi Morrison,

 

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked and can confirm the transaction you're referring to was successful on our end. Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

Today I requested to withdraw 93.51$  from Upwork to local Pakistani bank account but I didn't receive it.This happened first time with me before always I received money in 30 minutes into my bank account. I am worry please inform me.I also got email from Upwork;your money has been processed; but it's have been 8 hours now I didn't receive money kindly guide me ASAP.Thanks

Hi Shahzad,

 

I checked the transaction you're referring to and I can confirm that it was successful on our end. I understand you're used to receiving your funds rather quickly but please be aware that Direct to Local Bank transactions take up to four business days to arrive at your bank. There is a 12:00 pm (noon) UTC cutoff time for same-day processing. After that, transfers will be processed the following business day. If the transaction still hasn't been reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know, and we will assist you further.

Please also note that bank holidays in the U.S. and your location may affect these withdrawals. In the meantime, please read this help article for more information about Direct to Local Bank Timing and Fees.

i withdraw my 30$ on 8 December on my local bank account today 13 December and my payment is not received in my bank

The payment was returned to your Upwork account because your withdrawal failed, and your payment method was rejected. Please go to your Get Paid page and ensure all your payment account details are correct before you retry your withdrawal.

Sir i withdraw 2 payments in same day one is 106$ and second is 30$

106$ return back in my upwork account but 30$ is not return yet

Thank you for your message. I see that you are referring to the rejected fund transfers using Direct to Local banks. These transfers are processed within four business days. If the transaction still hasn't reflected on your account after eight business days, let us know and we will assist you further.

Abdullah, I understand that one of your payments has already been reversed. Still, as Pradeep mentioned, you'll need to allow up to 8 business days (which, in your case, should be after December 20, 2023) before we can further investigate it. If, after that time, you still have not received the funds, feel free to let us know, and we'll be happy to assist you further.

Abdullah, I understand you might be concerned about not receiving your payment back; we certainly appreciate your patience regarding this matter. As I've mentioned in my post above, these need to be business days, not calendar days, so weekends and holidays are excluded from the time frame. If after December 20, 20203, you still have not received your funds, please let us know so we can further investigate for you.

Upwork sent me a mail saying that 15K inr has been transferred. But, I didn't recieve in my bank account.

Let me explain.
I think this could be from accounts department.

I recieved the payment process mail on november 29.

But, I didn't recieve the below amount in my bank account.

Kindly rectify.

Please let us know if the funds are still not reflected in your account after the monitoring period so we can check on this.

Hello all!

 

I've noticed a post in November stating similar problems, but does anyone else experience a payment delay from last Friday (Dec. 15)? Not only did my 'Payment Processed' email arrive with a 13 hours delay, but more disconcertingly, the payment has not reached my account. I'm based in France and the Upwork payment always, like clockwork, comes in on the Monday after the processing date.

It seems like there might be a delay in processing payments. Have you reached out to Upwork's support team to inquire about this specific issue? They might have insights or updates about any ongoing delays.

Thank you Khalida, but I haven't. Simply because I know what they (or the Upwork-bot) is going to say: Wait 8 days and then request Upwork support to look for the payment. That's why I've posted here, because if there are more people with the same problem, I don't need to worry that the payment is lost - just delayed and I don't need to take it personal.

I contacted them, and after explaining the problem, go no more answer from them.
