Direct to Local Bank withdrawal not received

i was transfer balance on 29.02.2023 through direct bank payment. but still not received the balance in my bank. what should i do Now?? please help

Hi Morrison,

 

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked and can confirm the transaction you're referring to was successful on our end. Direct to local bank transfers are processed within 4 business days, but it can take up to 7 business days to arrive at your bank. Holidays in the US and in your location can also delay the process. Please let us know if after 8 business days the funds are still not reflected in your account so we can initiate a trace for you.

8 days was always. It is default delay before you able to initiate payment search.

Hi Lauren,

 

Direct to Local Bank payments take up to seven business days to arrive at your bank. There is also a noon UTC cutoff time for same-day processing. After that, transfers will be processed the following business day. Bank holidays in the U.S. or your country can delay your funds.

 

If you haven't received an email notification that it has been processed, please still allow time for the payment to be processed. If, after eight business days, the funds are still not reflected in your account, please let us know so we can initiate a trace for you. Here's the help article for more information.

I've already looked into that and I know, as I've been withdrawing funds for more than 2 years. My problem is that it's the 3rd business day since my withdrawal and I STILL haven't received the "payment processed" email. I should have received it and should now even have received the payment so I'm wondering when I will receive it?? This is very very inconvenient!

Hi Laureen,

I have the same issue. 😖I have been waiting for 2 business days (withdrawal made on 23rd December). I have posted my concern here yesterday and I received the same reply (copy and paste I assume). I am not happy at all. Let's hope somebody decide to get it sorted or at least give us more information. This is very frustrating.

Same here, even after asking for support. They said it would be processed yesterday, with already 3 days of delay, and still nothing today!!

Hello! 

 

this is my second time to manually withdraw, the first one was without a hitch. It arrived in my bank automatically. But this second time around, It didn't arrive in my bank. It's a direct to local bank and upwork charges a fee so I can receive it automatically. This is so upsetting! I've waited for 10 days to withdraw and now it's delayed.

 I checked the recent withdrawal transaction, and it was successful. Direct to Local Bank payments take up to seven business days to arrive at your bank. There is a noon UTC cutoff time for same-day processing. After that, transfers will be processed the following business day. Bank holidays in the U.S. or your country can delay your funds.

 

If you still do not see the funds reflected in your account after eight business days, please let us know so we can initiate a trace.

I just wanted an update, I withdrawn my payment yesterday Dec. 26, 20233, and received the second email that it was already processed. Until now it's not reflecting on my account. Thank you!

Hi i have been waiting for payments to reflect in my local bank since last weeks processed weekly payment and there still hasn't been any change, im now due for another today and a yellow highlight stating payment has not been processed. 

 

This has never happened before and two sets of payments have not reflected into my account.

 

Can anyone please assist with the issue?

Hi to everyone! I just received payment for the week of the 20th and and awkardly enough still pending week of the 13th.

 

Never experienced this before and payments aren't making any sense atall.

Hello! Good day. I withdrew my payment earlier today and went to my local bank around 7 pm EST. Until now, I still haven't seen the withdrawn amount in my bank account. I already received payment notification from Upwork stating that it was processed successfully. I hope it could trace as soon as possible just wanna know if what is the root cause of this issue.

Normally, I apply for payment at around 5:30 am IST (12:00 am GMT), and the payment is processed within 5 to 6 hours, and the money usually reaches my bank the same day.

 

Yesterday, I had applied for payment at 5:36 am (12:06 am GMT), and I received notification that it has been processed at 10:52 am (5:22 am GMT), and the money was in my bank the same day.

 

Today I applied for a payment at 5:31 am IST (12:01 am GMT) but the payment has not yet been processed, or at least, I have not received notification that it has been processed.

It is 2:47 pm IST (9:17 am GMT) right now.

 

Can someone please check to see that everything is okay?

It seems to be just another new problem Upwork is creating. I made a withdrawal 22nd December, after the one before was stuck for one week and I don't trust Upwork anymore. Until today I haven't received the "payment was processed" email! I did another withdrawal few days later, it was right away processed and is already in my account. So I have raised a ticket and as we know Upworks useless support, they write a lot without any answer. They don't get the point that the withdrawal wasn't even processed and answer me all the time about the holidays and local transfers can take up to 7 days etc. They even tell me they cannot check if it was processed, only after so and so days. This is inacceptable. And what can we do? Nothing.
