Don't have access to Verified Phone Number / Not receiving security code on my phone

Hi,

The account says it needs to verify my phone number but I am not getting a code to my phone.

If you need help with your phone number because you're not receiving the code or don't have access to it anymore, we’ll need to ask you to confirm some private account details in order to help you. At Upwork, protecting your privacy is our priority. With this in mind, it would be best if you reach out directly to our support team so they can assist you within a private and secure channel of communication. 

 

To access our support services, it would be best to follow the steps below:
  1. Navigate to the Help Center’s navigation bar and select the “Contact Support” option.
  2. Choose the “Chat with Upwork” option to initiate a conversation with our chatbot.
  3. Type in a question or topic and click “Send.” The chatbot will provide relevant articles related to your question.
We strongly encourage everyone to engage with the chatbot to access the available support options. Asking for assistance directly may not provide sufficient information for the chatbot to be able to assist you appropriately - for example, creating a ticket for you with the right team according to your concern.

Same issue, want to post a job but do not receive a code and the useless chatbot keeps going around in circles, I have no idea how to open a ticket as it points to the same thing that opens the chat bot and we go through the same nonsense.

 

Yes I entered the right number, tried my secondary number and yes I have signal, it's clear this is an issue on your end. Please fix it

I am on the final step of setting up my profile and the pin isn't being sent to my phone. I have tried several times to resend it and now I don't even have the option to resend it or input a pin with the "Verify Pin" button. I have tried the customer support chatbot which allowed me to set up 2-factor authentication. When it eventually failed to resolve the issue it wouldn't let me talk to a real person to resolve the issue. I am unable to move past the final step of the profile setup and am redirected there every time I try to go to upwork.com. Any suggestions???

Verify pin doesn't send anything to phone. I have checked spam.

Also FIY, the support chatbot is awful. It gives incorrect information, asks you to click on things that don't exist, and will not help you find support elsewhere.

From past 12 Hours i am trying to verify my mobile number, But not able to receive any SMS.

It's my first payout here in upwork and all the info is correct like my password and phone number, your app says that a code has been sent but there is no code being actually sent on my phone. I need this ASAP. Please help me out

I tried my cell phone numbers, I couldn't get the verification code, and then I was prompted to change my phone number the maximum number of times.

I am having a similar  problem. I just made an account and I am not reciveing my verfication pin via phone.

I went to the Chatbot, did everything it said and tried multiple times. These were my steps:

1) When I signed up for an account, got to slide 10, and it will not send me a verification pin to my phone.
2) I did as instructed from chatbot. I went to my account and passwords. I added a  authenticator app. that worked.
3) I'm still not allowed to do anything, it just goes back to slide 10 and says i need verification pin from phone.

4) I even tried to turn off phone verfication and just have the authenticator on. It still did not work.

 

note: im getting all my messages and calls, and other verfications to my phone. there is nothng wrong with my phone.
