Hello,
I am trying to finish creating my freelancer profile, but I am running into a frustrating issue. I tried using the chat feature and have searched high and low for a way to contact customer support - why are there no avenues for this?
The recaptcha loaded and worked correctly one time, allowing the phone verification box to appear. I had to close the box due to my phone being on the charger in another room. Once my phone was charged, I tried to send the verification code code again, however nothing happens because I am unable to verify that I am not a robot as the recaptcha does not appear on the page at all. I have tried three different browsers + both browsers on my phone. I have cleared cache and cookies. Closed all browsers. Logged out and back in. Nothing is working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

when I click to apply to a job, the system asks me to enter a phone number so that it can send me a verification code. When I use the phone number with which I created the account, I get the error, "you've attempted to change your PIN too many times". And when I use a different phone number, I get the error, "you attempted to change your phone number too many times. Please contact support"
I've explained this issue to the chatbot and couldn't get past "enable 2-factor authentication with an app" -- it did not solve my problem.

Hello everyone,
I've been having trouble verifying my phone number on Upwork for the past few days. I've tried multiple times to verify it in order to post a job, but without success. I simply don't receive any verification message back from Upwork when I press "Send code" although I can clearly see that the phone number is correct.
Has anyone else experienced this or knows how to resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have an old account, for which I know the user name and the current password, and cell phone, but not the email address. When I login to this old account with the U/N and P/W I am notified that my password has been compromised, and presented with a button to change it. When I click the button to update my password, I receive notification that an email with a reset link has been sent to the email address associated with my account.
Well, whatever the email address is, I no longer have access to it and so am unable to reset the password, which is important because my "current" Upwork account cannot be verified, which is important because I have work to do and need to be able to post a job! Sorry, but seriously, this is way too difficult because AI can't understand what I'm talking about, and Upwork doesn't have human support to contact 😞 Anyway, my cellphone (I only have one) is apparently already associated to another account on Upwork to which I have no access, and this is not allowed by Upworks system.
Can someone please tell me how I can get a new account set up with my (single, solitary) cell phone number that already in use on a different old account that I cannot access?

Hi,
I cannot send proposals as they redirect me to the phone verification, and the sms is never arriving. The chat says there is an instability with OTP, but I've been trying since yesterday.
I checked and my number is ok and receiving other sms. I have connects, I'm a new profile.
how can I open a ticket? Is there another way of verification? The chat enters a loop and does not solve.

Have you contacted the help center? Have you tried to do this process again?
Try contacting the help center, you may have entered the phone number incorrctly for some reason.
