Don't have access to Verified Phone Number / Not receiving security code on my phone

Hi,

The account says it needs to verify my phone number but I am not getting a code to my phone.

If you need help with your phone number because you're not receiving the code or don't have access to it anymore, we’ll need to ask you to confirm some private account details in order to help you. At Upwork, protecting your privacy is our priority. With this in mind, it would be best if you reach out directly to our support team so they can assist you within a private and secure channel of communication. 

 

To access our support services, it would be best to follow the steps below:
  1. Navigate to the Help Center’s navigation bar and select the “Contact Support” option.
  2. Choose the “Chat with Upwork” option to initiate a conversation with our chatbot.
  3. Type in a question or topic and click “Send.” The chatbot will provide relevant articles related to your question.
We strongly encourage everyone to engage with the chatbot to access the available support options. Asking for assistance directly may not provide sufficient information for the chatbot to be able to assist you appropriately - for example, creating a ticket for you with the right team according to your concern.

Currently cannot sign I to my main account I'll assume it's because it's been and while and the not has been less than helpful in my attempt to contact someone a few days ago it asked me for my information and said I would be contacted and still nothing so any help would be obliged

I haven't received a text to verify my account and I went into my settings, passwords and security and tried to choose a two step verification and it will not allow me to make any changes.

When in job a post on upwork it says verify your phone number and when i enter my phone number i am not receiving any verification codes changed phone numbers as well try resending codes but still same issue. My phone number is valid elegible and active please help me fix this asap.

 That sounds super frustrating! As a fellow freelancer, I can’t help directly, but I’ve seen this happen before. Here are a few things you can try:

  1. Double-check your number format – Make sure you’re entering your phone number with the correct country code, especially if you’ve changed it.

  2. Try a different network – If you’re on Wi-Fi, try switching to mobile data, or vice versa, and see if the code comes through.

  3. Contact Upwork Support – If you’ve tried those steps and it’s still not working, I’d recommend reaching out to Upwork support directly. They should be able to help fix it from their side.

i got same issue,  I have added payment verification but not able to get the code on my phone event after resending.
