Don't have access to Verified Phone Number / Not receiving security code on my phone

Hi,

The account says it needs to verify my phone number but I am not getting a code to my phone.

If you need help with your phone number because you're not receiving the code or don't have access to it anymore, we’ll need to ask you to confirm some private account details in order to help you. At Upwork, protecting your privacy is our priority. With this in mind, it would be best if you reach out directly to our support team so they can assist you within a private and secure channel of communication. 

 

To access our support services, it would be best to follow the steps below:
  1. Navigate to the Help Center’s navigation bar and select the “Contact Support” option.
  2. Choose the “Chat with Upwork” option to initiate a conversation with our chatbot.
  3. Type in a question or topic and click “Send.” The chatbot will provide relevant articles related to your question.
We strongly encourage everyone to engage with the chatbot to access the available support options. Asking for assistance directly may not provide sufficient information for the chatbot to be able to assist you appropriately - for example, creating a ticket for you with the right team according to your concern.

I can't get any verification code. I have also tried different numbers, and now it say that number of number changing attemppts has exceeded the limit

I can't verify my number. Each time i try, I don't get an sms text. I can't change the numbers as it says I have exceeded limit. Please help as the chat bot is absolutely useless

I don't receive the SMS code confirmation for post a job, same for any SMS confirmation on the setting when I put Text message security, so I can't post my job.

 

I already went to a support chat but no solutions found.

The system keeps asking me to verify my phone number before posting. I input my phone number but the pin code is not coming through. Tried several times by changing numbers and I have reached a limit with that too. Any help pls?

I am trying to "apply" for jobs, but the site wants me to verify my identity through a code sent either through text or call. However, the code I got started with a 0, Lets say 01234. Whenever I enter the code into the verification, the 0 seems to convert to "null" instead of "0". So after entering 01234, the code automatically changes to 1234. I have tried several different ways to get the 0 to appear infront of the code, but nothing worked. I have tried to call Upwork, but I just get a series of automation loops sending me back to the same uselss answers. I need to speak to an actual human being. How do I get somebody real on the phone? HELP!!

Hello! I have been trying to verify my PIN that is tied to my phone number to the point, now, that it says that I have attempted to change my PIN too many times.

The problem is when I go to type it, the text box would not let me type the first number (starting with 0) and will tell me that my PIN is invalid. Can I have some other method of verification, or a fix on this? I am willing to help in any way, so please let me know if there is any information or screenshot needed for further help. Thank you!

I've recently bought a new phone and downloaded the upwork app from playstore. Upon logging in, the verification code to be sent to my number is not appearing in my inbox(its not even sent). Kindly help me resolve this issue.

I've tried multiple numbers from my Skype number to my cell number and even google voice number. The Upwork SMS verification SMS is not arriving and I can't verify my profile! This is nuts! Now it tells me that I've exceeded the verification tries--and to try again in 24 hours.

 

That happened yesterday as well. This is NUTS!

 

What do I do? I can't even file a ticket--the support bot just takes me into circles!
