Don't have access to Verified Phone Number / Not receiving security code on my phone

I don't have access to my old verified phone number and need to update it with a new one.

If you need help with your phone number because you're not receiving the code or don't have access to it anymore, we’ll need to ask you to confirm some private account details in order to help you. At Upwork, protecting your privacy is our priority. With this in mind, it would be best if you reach out directly to our support team so they can assist you within a private and secure channel of communication. 

 

How do I reach a human in customer support?

 

  1. Please visit Contact Support and click the ‘Chat with Upwork' button.
  2. Type a question or topic and select ‘Send’. The bot will find relevant Help articles for you.
  3. The chatbot will ask you to confirm if you need additional help. If you confirm that you need additional help, you will be asked to confirm the account type you need help with.
  4. From there, the support options available to you will be listed. Select either of the options to be able to contact the Upwork Support Team.

Hi, I'm just creating my account. There's no verification links or pins sent to my phone. I've tried resending the pin for several times and also changing my phone number but to no avail. I hope Upwork can help to resolve this for me. Thanks!

Thank you. The problem persist and even worse, after I clear my cookies and cache I got "Something went wrong. Please try again later." when I try send the pin to my phone. It's happening on Chrome. Tried Firefox like you suggested but the image verification just keep failing and then I got the same error mesage.

Why is it so hard to post a job on Upwork? I'm in need to find a freelancer for to help me.

Hi, I have a problem with the OTP Code, I already change the number 3 times and it still not recieving the OTP Code, can someone direct me to Contact Support from upwork?

When I try to verify my mobile number the verification code text message don't receive to my phone and I tried multiple times to send the code but still the same problem and I am sure the mobile number is correct

I have recently joined and uploaded a job post, it requested my number to send a code which I gave, but I am not receiving any codes. I changed my number, thinking my number is the issue, but it's the same thing. I am not receiving any codes. Please help!!

Hello,

 

I have been struggling with this for the past hour

 

I am not receiving any SMS when prompted to verify my phone number

It now says "Re-sending PIN limit has been exceeded"
I checked my number over 10 times and it is correct

 

Can you help ?

 

 

PS: the chatbot is the most useless thing i have ever seen

Hello Upwork Team,

 

I want to finish my registration since yesterday but I do not recieve a verification code on my phone number. I already tried different numbers and phones, nothing works. Now after trying again I get the error: "Something went wrong, please try again later".

 

Please help and verify me as soon as possible.
