Hi, I had a direct contract from a client. And the escrow amount was refunded to him as the milestone was idle. The amount was refunded on his canceled credit card. How he will get the amount back?

Hi Nitish,
We appreciate you reaching out on behalf of your client. Once a refund is initiated, it cannot be canceled whether it is manual or automatic. The funds will be sent to the payment method on file. If there are any issues with the bank account, the funds will be returned to Upwork and once this has happened, rest assured that we will immediately credit the funds to your client's account.
