Feedback is not showing on my profile

I have recently completed an hourly project of the client named **Edited for Community Guidelines**. The work has been completed successfully as she ended the contract and left a good comment with 5 star rating and its been 24 hours now and I can't see that project listed either in completed or in progress.
How can I find out the reason for that, as this was a good comment and rating which can help me boost my profile so I wanted to have that listed on my profile.

Hi Zainulabiden,

 

Your feedback will appear on your Upwork profile within 24 hours after your earnings are processed on the contract and they are available for withdrawal. As long as the client has paid you at least $1.00 USD and it's ready to be withdrawn, any feedback they leave will be displayed on your public profile. See this help article for more information.

 

For Fixed-Price Contracts, this means after payment for the first milestone has been released and becomes available. Learn more about how you Get Paid for Fixed-Price Contracts here

For Hourly Contracts, this means after the client has been successfully charged for the hours worked the week before. Learn more about the Weekly Billing Cycle here

Hello All!
Recently I completed a job, in which the client also shared very helpful feedback and good ratings. That contract was 96th in my total no. of jobs, since the client shared the feedback a few hours later, I see a total of jobs done 95, and the feedback is not on my profile (Completed jobs (73) In progress (22) = 95).

It would be great if somebody shares a solution for that, thanks!

I see that you have multiple active jobs on your profile and there are two jobs that ended this month. To ensure we are discussing the correct job, could you please share the title of the job or the contract ID you are referring to?

Thank you for sharing the contract ID, Ayzaz. I checked the job and it looks like this is an hourly contract that started and ended in the same week. 

 

Please know that you need a minimum of $1 in earnings successfully processed and available for withdrawal for the job to appear on your Upwork profile. Your logged hours on this hourly contract will be processed as per the weekly billing cycle. Once your earnings are successfully processed, your job will appear on your Upwork profile.

I am new and I realized this is a common problem among Upwork users. I got my first job and I got my feedback from the client- no comments but 5 starts. But I can't see it on my work history section.. :(::( Am I not supposed to see it there?

Hi Hilal,

 

First of all, congratulations on getting your first job and receiving a 5-star rating! That’s a great start.

 

It’s completely normal for your work history and feedback to take some time to appear on your profile. The Upwork system usually takes a few hours, but it can sometimes take up to 24-48 hours for everything to update and reflect on your profile.

 

If it still doesn’t show up after this time, you might want to double-check that the contract is marked as “completed” on both your end and the client’s end. Sometimes, if there are any issues with the contract status, it might delay the appearance of the feedback.

 

Just give it a little more time, and it should show up soon. If it still doesn’t appear after a couple of days, you can always reach out to Upwork support for assistance.

Upwork has to successfully charge the client's billing method first.

You will see it in your Completed job section once Upwork is able to successfully charge the client's billing method.

Hi Hilal,

Congratulations on your 5-star rating on your first contract! Keep up the great work! I know how important it is for your finished contract with great feedback to be visible on your Work History. I checked the job and see that it is not visible on your profile since the payment is not yet available for you to withdraw. By design, a contract will be displayed on your profile up to 24 hours after a payment of at least $1.00 has been made and already shown as available for withdrawal for you. Hi Yasin,

 

It is important to note that you need to have a minimum of $1 earnings successfully processed on a job for it to appear on your Upwork work history. I checked the job you mentioned and this is an hourly contract accepted and completed within this week. Earnings on the hourly contracts are processed as per the weekly billing cycle. You job will appear on your Upwork profile after the earnings for this job is successfully processed. Hello... Recently I worked on a project and I completed it in a short time. The client was completely satisfied and thanked me for the work I did... He gave me a positive evaluation and 5 stars... My problem now is that this evaluation does not appear on my personal profile and I do not know what the problem is.

Hi Mohamed,

 

I checked and see that you have not yet received payment for this contract. Once you receive payment, the contract and feedback will show on your profile. I see that your contract is also hourly. For hourly contracts, all applicable time that you log in your Work Diary, whether tracked or added as manual time, is invoiced to your client according to the schedule below:

  • Week 1 — You log time using the Upwork desktop app (Time Tracker)
  • Week 2 — Your time is invoiced to your client on Monday, and they have until Friday to review your work
  • Week 3 — Earnings become available on the following Wednesday

You can check this help article for more information. 

 

Additionally, the feedback system is double-blind, which means that feedback won’t be visible until both parties provide it to each other. This helps ensure genuine, independent feedback from both parties. If only one party leaves feedback, we will post it after the 14-day period has expired.

 

If the 14-day feedback period expires before you are able to add comments, you can contact the client and ask them to allow you to add feedback later. We will notify you once the option to leave feedback is available. For more information, please read this help article

Hi all,

 

I am new on Upwork and recently managed to land some jobs which I am very happy about. 

 

I have just yesterday finished the last job and when I went to my profile at 'Work history', completed jobs is showing as 4 which is correct. 

 

However, the total jobs is counting only 3.

 

Is there a glitch and it will automatically be fixed or what do I need to do about it?

Thank you for your message. I checked and can confirm that your profile already has four completed jobs as seen here. Please know that your job will appears on your profile after a minimum of $1 earning is successfully processed on it. The amount of the job is way over 1$ but yet is not appearing as a job.

 

I am new and really do not know much about it. Can you inform me why it has not appeared as 4 total jobs as it is in the work history?
