Feedback is not showing on my profile

Hello

 

One of my job feedback and rating is not visible on my profile but I have checked the contract detail page the client did provide the rating and feedback.

Hi Azam,

 

Your feedback will appear on your Upwork profile within 24 hours after your earnings are processed on the contract and they are available for withdrawal. As long as the client has paid you at least $1.00 USD and it's ready to be withdrawn, any feedback they leave will be displayed on your public profile. See this help article for more information.

 

For Fixed-Price Contracts, this means after payment for the first milestone has been released and becomes available. Learn more about how you Get Paid for Fixed-Price Contracts here

For Hourly Contracts, this means after the client has been successfully charged for the hours worked the week before. Learn more about the Weekly Billing Cycle here

Hi Mueen,

 

You don't have to. What I meant in my previous response is that as soon as the client releases at least $1 payment, kindly wait up to 24 hours for the contract and feedback to show on your work history.

Hello guys good evening to all. Im new to this community and I finally was able to complete 2 task successfully.

 

Im wondering if any of you have ever experienced upwork having bugs or issues on the platform itself. Or maybe its me. I did 2 task successfully. Both clients provided me good reviews. Only one of the clients reviews is showing up in my work history. The other client does not show even thought the in " All Contracts " link it shows both clients giving me good review ratings. Why is this? Not sure if I make sense?

 

Also when I visit My profile settings my profiles visibilitiy continues to be locked private. How am I supposed to get my profile looked at by potentencial clients if it will always me private? Does this mean I have to buy the PLUS 14.99 per month fee to have my profile public?

 

I sent support an email already but still no reply. Also I pressed the " Reset my profile visibility " button and that does nothing. I did this 2 days ago.

Hi Israel,

 

Thank you for reaching out to us. If you are a new freelancer and don't earn money on Upwork within 90 days of your first proposal, or you choose not to submit a proposal within your first 90 days, your profile will change to private. 

 

When your profile is set to private it is not shown in freelancer search results but rest assured, clients are still able to see your profile when you submit proposals.

 

I've reset your profile visibility has been set to public and you should be able to make changes to it now too.

 

As for the feedback that is not yet showing on your profile, please keep in mind that contracts take about 24 hours to appear on your profile after your client pays at least $1.00.

 

It looks like your other contract was an hourly one so it is still undergoing review period.

 

All applicable time that you log in your Work Diary, whether tracked or added as manual time, is invoiced to your client according to the schedule below:

  • Week 1 — You log time using the Upwork desktop app (Time Tracker)
  • Week 2 — Your time is invoiced to your client on Monday, and they have until Friday to review your work
  • Week 3 — Earnings become available on the following Wednesday

Once the payment is released for this contract, please allow 24 hours for the contract and feedback to appear in your work history.

Hello, Quick Question. I am active on Upwork currently and sending proposals now I have read this message. I'm wondering what if my last successful client was a returning client and I haven't closed/got a contract in 90 days (I think) will that make my profile private?

Understood and will wait but I have a question about feedbacks for clients. This same job that still is not showing the clients review for my profile, upwork is still asking me to put a feedback for the client. I already put feedback for this client so not sure why its still asking me to put feedback for the client? Not sure if I make sense.

It has been 19 hours since payment was successful/verified. And even though this review that was given after a milestone payment is not showing on the Talent search results after clicking on my profile (logged out using the public search tool), it does say that I made that amount in the Job History section, so that means the payment has been processed. And yes I gave a review to the client already as well.

Also when logged out, the talent Search shows Job History to other profiles, but it says "No work" in mine, yet on the left it says the dollar amount of earnings I made from this job who's review is not showing.

Also, when I search my name in the talent search, people who do not even have my name come up before my profile finally does on the third page.

In addition, when I search both my name as well as the category that I made for my account (which is web development), it says "no results found". For some reason, even though logged in it says that my category is web development, no one can see my profile when searching talent under the web development category! It's no wonder no one is viewing my profile, because I do not even show up in search results, at all, unless someone explicitly types my name and goes to the third page after a ton of profiles that aren't even using my name.

It doesn't sound like I am going to have any success here at all.

Hi Lori,

 

I've checked the contract you're referring to and confirmed that the client indeed released the payment yesterday (23 October). Please be aware that when your client releases a milestone or final payment on a fixed-price job, it immediately shows as pending on your financial account. Pending payments become available for you to withdraw after the standard five-day security period. You may want to check this help article to learn more about getting paid on a fixed-price contract.

 

Generally, your feedback will appear on your Upwork profile up to 24 hours after your earnings are processed on the contract. For Fixed-Price Contracts, this means after payment for the first milestone has been released. I can now see the client's feedback for the contract on your profile.

Hello Everyone,

I just recently completed a Job and the client marked the project completed and released the payment, He ended the contract we both gave reviews to each other, But I didn't see that Job in my profile job history, It's the first time I've seen this otherwise they just updated it every Monday.

I wanted to open a request for it but didn't show any option. If there is any upwork team member who is reading this please let me know the procedure.

In general, contracts take about 24 hours to appear on your profile after your client pays at least $1.00. Kindly clear your browser cache and cookies then check again. Hello Everyone,

 

I've been here for a long time and this is the first time I'm experiencing such a problem.

We made 2 different contracts with the same Customer. After completing and delivering the first job, we made a second contract and closed the second contract and the job was completed successfully.

 

1.IT SHOWS ON MY BUSINESS PROFILE AND IS IN GOOD CONDITION.

 

2.JOB: While I was continuing the job, it was visible in the "Ongoing Projects" Tab on my profile, but after I finished the job and closed the contract, the project disappeared and is no longer visible on my profile.

 

Upwork is not as accessible as it used to be. There is a robot in live support and there is no e-mail address where I can reach them.

 

Please let me know if anyone has experienced this problem before and resolved it.

Hi Muhammed,

 

I see that the contract for the second job you're referring to ended today. Note that it can take up to 24 hours for finished contracts to appear on your profile after your client has been billed. Please let us know if the contract still isn't showing after that time has passed.

Hello,

 

Have a job in progress, milestone paid, that it is not appearing anymore on my profile. Have no idea how to solve the problem since there is no live support from upwork and only a chatbot.

Hi Andreea,

I have that issue a lot of times. I think the Upwork system would need some time (days) to update the contract details on your Profile or Stats section.

Yes, Support is mostly providing chatbot but you still can create a ticket to get support from humans.

I had the job on my profile, but now it doens't appear anymore. So I think there is another error at this moment that they have to solve.

However, there are a few things you can try to solve the problem:

Check your profile settings. Make sure that your profile is set to public and that your job history is visible.
Wait 24-48 hours. Sometimes it can take some time for Upwork to update your profile after a milestone has been paid. If you have checked your profile settings and the job is still not appearing after 48 hours, you can try contacting Upwork support.

I had the job on my profile, but now it doens't appear anymore. So I think there is another error at this moment that they have to solve.

The best thing to do in this case is to contact Upwork support and let them know about the problem. They should be able to investigate the issue and fix it as soon as possible.

Hi, More than 48hrs have passed and I am unable to see reviews on my profile. The client has paid me and the amount in in "Pending" tab. and the contract has been closed. I have also cleared cookies and cache memory.

I have also given feedback to the client, but on my Jobs list its still asking me to review and when I click the Leave feedback button it takes me to the job details and over there I am able to see clients review and my review which I gave to the client.

One of my Client's feedback is not showing in my profile, but it was showing in my profile before. The project was done almost a week ago.

It was just a simple review but a 5 star feedback is important to me as I am still new in this platform and want to show it to my profile.
