Thank you for reaching out and raising this query. In general, your contracts will appear on your Upwork profile up to 24 hours after your earnings are processed on the contract. 

For Fixed-Price Contracts, this means after payment for the first milestone has been released. Learn more about how you Get Paid for Fixed-Price Contracts here. 

For Hourly Contracts, this means after the client has been successfully charged for the hours worked the week before. Learn more about the Weekly Billing Cycle here. I hope this clarifies. Keep up the good work!

I am referring to the job I got on 02 October 2023.

The job is not showing in the client’s “Jobs in progress” either (as of now).

It can’t show in the client’s “Jobs in progress” till “after payment for the first milestone has been released”?

When the payment is released, won’t it be shown as complete, not a job in progress?

Hi Ravindra,

As Arjay mentioned, you need to earn at least $1 for your job to show up on your Upwork profile. Sometimes, contracts are not closed right after the payments are made. In that case, you will see your job under 'In Progress' instead of 'Completed jobs'.

Why is it not showing in the client’s “Jobs in progress”?

Earlier, even before any payment was made, the job would show in the client’s profile.

Ravindra, if you're specifically referring to the job you're working on with this client, please allow until a payment has been made on your account for it to show on the client's jobs in progress.
