Financial Account Change

My financial account is showing old name. I changed my profile name to "Sukhdev Patidar" but in notificaiton and email it is showing "Irradiant Sw". I want to change it to "Sukhdev Patidar".

I also need to change my Financial Account Name to my current company name. There are no options to do so. Thank you.

Hi Avery. Someone added an email to my financial account and I didin't recognize it. Can you help me block that email address? Please see attached screenshot. Thank you.

It looks like the payment method has already been removed. I have also shared this with the team to look into it further. If they need further information from you, they will reach out to you directly through an email support ticket.

Hello Avery,

 

I also encountered this case on my payment method "Payment method verification in progress

Your payment method has been deactivated because the beneficiary name on your payment method does not match the name on your Upwork account." I already changed my Upwork verified name, and yet I received an email stating that my Financial Account name was still the name before I changed it

Hello, I'm also facing the same issue, When I added my payment method, it showed me the old name that I used in Upwork, but my current account is fully updated. Please tell me if is it safe or risk.

Hello Sukhdev P

In your profile, if you correct the name then it's okay. Then Upwork will deposit two small amounts in your given bank account information and Upwork will send you an email to verify those two deposit information once you verify your bank account using the two small deposits, your bank account will be updated to the name which is currently showing in your bank information.

To request a name change, please go to Settings › Contact Info to edit your name.

I am also having a same issue.

 

I have changed my profile name but when I added a payment method the notification still mentions my old name.

 Repeat, I have changed my profile name but my Financial account name is still previous one.

Hi ,my financial account is showing the old name. I changed my profile name and in my contact info to my real name, but in the notification and email, it is still showing the old one. I need to change it to my real name.
