Free lancer not responding

Hi My freelancer has agreed to deliver a project on 22 April, now it is 5 days late he has not communicated any progress and worse not replying to my messages. I wish to just cancel the contract. If I do so, will I be responsible to pay him? What is going to happen if I end the contract now?

Hi Ruth,

Thank you for your message. You can end the contract anytime if the freelancer is unresponsive. When you end the contract, you will have an option to choose the amount you would like to pay to the freelancer or to request a refund. Your freelancer will be notified about your escrow refund request and they will have seven days to approve your refunds.
