Freelance Italy invoices - how it works on upwork?

Hi there,

I would like how it works for italian businesses that work on upwork.
I'm a freelance with my own business in Italy, I usually give the invoice directly to the client, should I make an invoice every time I get paid by upwork?

Thank you for reaching out to us. Upwork automatically sends an invoice to the client when you log your time for an hourly contract or when the client approves the work you submitted for a fixed-price contract.
