I am so much disappointed with the worst attitude of client. He is open threatened me and using the words which are unbearable. I have talked with him politely from start to till now. He filed a dispute on manual hours added after completing the job. He first allowed me to add manual hours then after closing the contract he denied to pay those manual hours. He admitted his mistake of allowing manual hours. In good faith I have told him that no worries if he does not allow me those hours I will refund those hours. He satisfied but continuously abusing me and threatened me repeatedly that you deceive me etc. He changed the review with worst ever possible. Also threatened on review also that he will destroy my profile. I told him that as I get paid I will pay his mentioned amount with all times in polite way. I haven't denied any time to not paid. But after his forced I have refund him half amount and told him to stay in touch for few times as I get fund to refund him that amount which he wants.
But he files a dispute and threatened with abusing language in chat of dispute which is available there. My attitude is positive but he tried to provoke me.
I have spent my most of the time to build my profile on Upwork but this type of clients are ready to destroy all struggles of days and nights.
Ease someone here can assist me to get rid of this issue.
Thanks

Dear Ferozuddin N,
I'm sorry to hear about your experience with your client. It's not uncommon for freelancers to encounter difficult clients, but it's never acceptable for a client to use threatening or abusive language.
It's important to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when communicating with clients, even when they're being difficult. I'm glad to hear that you've been polite throughout your interactions with the client, despite their behavior.
As for the dispute, it's always best to try to reach a resolution with the client before it gets to that point. It sounds like you were willing to refund the disputed amount, but the client still chose to file a dispute.
I would suggest reaching out to Upwork support for assistance in resolving the dispute and addressing the client's abusive behavior. Upwork has policies in place to protect freelancers from clients who violate their terms of service, including abusive behavior.
Remember that as a freelancer, you have the right to work with clients who treat you with respect and professionalism. Don't let one difficult client discourage you from pursuing your goals on Upwork.
Best of luck in resolving this issue, and I hope you're able to move forward with your freelancing career with confidence and success.
Best Regards,
Usama I.

Ferozuddin,
Unfortunately if you have already given him half his money back before you recieved the Review your strategic leverage is gone. If he threatens for the dispute team to see that will not be favorable for him, however he can still leave a bad Review if he has paid any monies. During dispute sometimes giving back some money after a Review has occured can make everyone happy.
