I was pleased to see the addition of the new "highlight section" feature, as it greatly aids in keeping proposals simple without the need for lengthy links from our portfolio profile. However, I have observed a bug while using this new feature.
Upon clicking the next button to select the next portfolio page, the main first page persists even when selecting "2" or "3" (number of pages).
Additionally, when checking the "My Proposals" page, I was unable to locate the attached project and certification related to the last proposal I sent to a prospective client. This issue raises concerns about the overall functionality of the feature.
I hope you can address and resolve this issue promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I appreciate your efforts in making our journey a great one!

Additionally, I've observed that the Highlight section appears inconsistently when using the "Submit a Proposal" feature. It seems to be inconsistent, sometimes not appearing when applying to a job offer.
Given these issues, I recommend that Freelancers refrain from using the Highlight section until the problem is resolved. Furthermore, it would be beneficial if the Highlight section could be viewed in the "Submitted Proposals" menu after sending a proposal to a client.
Your attention to these matters is greatly appreciated.

I just tried this for the first time and found 2 huge (to me) issues:
1. I previously chose to hide feedback on a job but the feedback shows on the highlight screen;
2. Only closed jobs show. I have several long term, high-paying jobs which I am unable to highlight.
Anyone else find this? Both are either huge errors or, if intentional, not very smart.

I've attached some to my proposal, and they never showed up. Happened to a few other fellow freelancers as well (allegedly). Do not rely on the new "Highlights" function for your proposals yet! Attach it as an extra to your full portfolio only, if you really want to.
Honestly, I love the idea and I wanted Upwork to implement it for a pretty long time, but it sucks when you send out a proposal to a job post telling the client to look at your portfolio highlights and certifications.... and that just isn't there. Makes you look weird and forgetful, instant low hiring possibility = wasted time and connects.
I really hope Upwork fixes it soon, but for now just be careful.

I appreciate your prompt responses.
I wanted to inform you that the previously reported issues regarding changing pages in the portfolio have been successfully resolved.
However, I encountered a new issue today while applying for multiple job offers. Specifically, I noticed that the highlight section is not consistently available for all jobs. While it is present as an option for some jobs, it is conspicuously absent for others.
I'm uncertain whether this discrepancy is indicative of a potential bug or if it is somehow specific to certain job offers.

I'm responding on behalf of Nikola. Thanks for coming back here and for sharing your feedback about this feature. We are rolling out this feature soon, but it may not be available for all jobs yet.

They are working on the glitch that showed my actual feedback rather than "Feedback removed". However, you cannot include ongoing projects as highlights, only closed ones.
