How to become verified "English: Fluent"

Hi,
I want to ask how I can get a verified language. I have successfully completed my 5 projects with 3 different clients and got a 5 star rating on all projects. My language skill is still not verified.
Please let me know. What should I do.

1. Take an Upwork-approved test from a third-party provider, which includes IELTS - English Proficiency Exam, Cambridge, and Duolingo tests, and add your certificate from the test. Learn more about adding certifications to your profile.

2. Get rated by 3 clients when they end their contracts. When your contract ends, we ask your client to rate your English proficiency. Note: We take only the first 3 distinct clients' feedback for evaluating your English proficiency.

Hi Mudassar,

What clients rate you in your contracts corresponds to the same options you have on your profile when choosing your Proficiency level. If you choose Fluent as your proficiency and 3 clients have rated you at a level that's considered Fluent, you'll see the Verified Badge next to that language on your Profile. Here's a screenshot of how that looks like.

The only way to get an English verified badge on Upwork without IELTS is by getting rated by your first 3 distinct clients on your language proficiency. When your first 3 contracts end with different clients, we ask your clients to rate your English proficiency. Based on their feedback, an English language verified badge is added to your Upwork profile.
