I wear a veil, how do I upload my profile picture with it on?

I wear a veil so i didn't upload my picture on my profile, instead used a cartoon. Now that i know there is no way around it and i have to put my real picture, I'm trying to change the picture and i cant. I have sent upwork my verification request already with my ID and real picture. I'm scared of they will suspend me?

I wear a veil due to religious purposes so my profile picture has me in a veil can you please accept it . I got an email to change it and I've seen multiple freelancers like me here in a veil . 

So can my request be approved and my picture accepted so i can start applying for jobs please.

I've been asked to verify my identity and I've been told to change my profile picture. I have submitted my ID and also took the selfie showing my face. When I created my Upwork account, I read that I was allowed for religious reasons to post a profile picture showing my face covered. Now I have been told to clearly show my face. Can I get a religious exemption and keep my profile picture as it is?
