there is no menu item for verification by ID when I follow the link there is no such page either ... what is the problem please help me to pass verification. thanks

Hi Roman,
If you are eligible or required to receive an “Identity Verified” badge, you can complete the two stages by going to Identity Verification in your Settings.
You may be asked to complete a visual verification and provide a valid government-issued ID. Acceptable documents include passport, national ID card (NIC/CNIC), driver's license, NBI Clearance (Philippines only), tax ID, voter ID, postal ID, or any other valid government-issued photo ID that meets these criteria.
Note that we occasionally ask users to re-verify because periodic checks ensure their accounts continue to reflect accurate information. Our goal is to make this process as seamless as possible and we thank you for your contribution to keeping Upwork a professional and safe community.
If you don't see a way to verify, that may be because you're not eligible yet. Please know that verification cannot be requested, but is slowly being rolled out to all talent. If the team finds the need to verify your account, you will be notified through an email, or through a notification in your account.

I am trying to verify my ID, but after I took a picture, and uploaded my ID I got this popup - You've reached the maximum number of tries to upload your ID.
To verify your identity so that you can access all jobs, please contact customer support.

Hi,
I joined the platform a few days ago and just uploaded my driver license because it requested me to upload it when trying to submit my first proposal.
But it said "we couldn't authenticate the ID you uploaded" and I'm not sure why.
Could anyone help me on this matter?

I have checked and your account doesn't need further verification just yet. Please note that you will not be able to initiate the identity verification yourself and it cannot be requested. If the team finds the need for you to do it, you will receive an email detailing the instructions on how to complete your verification. You may want to check this help article for more information.

You may also try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. Also note that we only officially support the latest two versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari.
You can also log in to your profile, click the question mark icon on the upper right corner of the web page, and click on 'Disputes' to access your support tickets.

You will be asked to verify your profile once you get your first contact. Upwork will notify you. You can not ask for it.

For three days in a row now, I am asked to verify my identity. Everytime I do the verification, it says the verification is good. Then the next day comes and I get the same notification to verify my identity. I am starting to get uncomfortable doing this because I am not sure this is UpWork asking me for this. Everytime I try to verify my ID the website denies it because it says my account name isn't the same name as my ID name. I can say with 100% confidence it is because it's my name. I am becoming so frustrated because I can't accomplish anything without the ID verification, and I'm not sure if it's coming from my end or not.
I have tried contacting support but they never respond. I even created a new email and new account to try and resolve the issue but it still is not working. Any type of help would be greatly appreciated.
