Hello Everyone. I need a helpful instruction. I made a mistake that I didn't upload my own image on my upwork profile. Now I want to change it. but unfornately It doesn't happening.  Upwork authority asked me to verify my identity and I submit my national ID card and with a selfie but there is no photo of mine on my profile. I'm very tensed. Will it be create any problem?

Can I verify my Upwork identity through my Passport ID because my national ID has expired and I will renew my national ID after 1 month?

Whenever I need to re-verify my identity verification I will use my national ID instead of my passport ID, Is that possible?

Also, please let me know how long it will take to re-verify my identification on Upwork.

I have 6 days left.

Thank you for your message. Yes, you can upload your passport to complete the verification as long as it includes the information registered on your Upwork account.

Please note that you will not be able to initiate the identity verification yourself and it cannot be requested. If the team finds the need for you to do it, you will receive an email detailing the instructions on how to complete your verification. You may want to check this help article for more information.

I got a request to verify my identity before 8th, and get a verification badge. I submitted all details and passed everything except for the ID verification which I was told will take about 1-3 business days, it's past three business days now, but it's still under review. Please help, as I wouldn't like my account temporarily suspended

I am Sharafat safi from Afghanistan. I am studying for my Bachelor's degree in Pakistan. I started work on Upwork but I cannot verify my identity because Afghanistan is not on the countries list from where I can verify my Identity. I have Afghanistan Passport and a valid Pakistani Student visa.
I don't have Pakistan Identity Card because I am not I Pakistani citizen.
please help me regards this so I can continue my work with my client.

Hello guys, I just wanted to check if any of you had similar problems to me, all unnecessary documents were sent as well as the picture, but it's been 4 days, and still no response from them. I made sure that the document was clean and 100% acceptable, also the picture was just like it needed to be but still nothing from them.

Is this normal or I should try to do something, thank you.

Upwork send me a notification last week asking me to verify my identity. I sand my Id photo and selfie, but today when I entered in the app still have the same message. So I upload another photo, but I couldn't be able to share a new selfie.

I'm worried with this process, because the message in app is that I only have more 2 days to verify but the message after loading my photo was of 1-3 days of verifing photo/selfie.

Someone can check out, please, how is my process?

I went through all steps (I took picture of my national ID and selfie), but I'm still waiting for a review.

What can I do now?

The deadline is close.
