there is no menu item for verification by ID when I follow the link there is no such page either ... what is the problem please help me to pass verification. thanks

Hi Roman,
If you are eligible or required to receive an “Identity Verified” badge, you can complete the two stages by going to Identity Verification in your Settings.
You may be asked to complete a visual verification and provide a valid government-issued ID. Acceptable documents include passport, national ID card (NIC/CNIC), driver's license, NBI Clearance (Philippines only), tax ID, voter ID, postal ID, or any other valid government-issued photo ID that meets these criteria.
Note that we occasionally ask users to re-verify because periodic checks ensure their accounts continue to reflect accurate information. Our goal is to make this process as seamless as possible and we thank you for your contribution to keeping Upwork a professional and safe community.
If you don't see a way to verify, that may be because you're not eligible yet. Please know that verification cannot be requested, but is slowly being rolled out to all talent. If the team finds the need to verify your account, you will be notified through an email, or through a notification in your account.

I've been trying to speak with an agent for identity verification. When I click 'speak with an agent', it won't load. I have a screenshot of where it stays stuck.

Hi All,. I got an email that my upwork account has been restricted and that I have to complete an identity verification. I have only NIN/NIMC CARD which is an acceptable means of identification in everywhere even in banks and I have also used it for verification on Amazon. I don't understand why upwork keeps rejecting it . It is the only means of identification I have now .
And most painful part is that I have lost clients that want start direct contract with me and other ones I have in my account I couldn't complete because of this hold on my account. Please they should me verify this with our Nigerian national ID card .

I passed visual and location verification, but I can not pass ID document verification. I have sent multiple pictures of my driver license and everytime, within 5 minutes it says I haven't submitted an ID document. I do not get any type of notification that it failed or passed. It just asks to verify again.

You may be resubmitted too quickly and Upwork's system has been frequently slow processing this month. Wait at least a few hours or even overnight so the system can catch up. Have a great day!
