Hi. I am stuck in some kind of loop. I have received several requests to verify my identity yesterday and today. I keep using my phone to take a picture of the front and back of my drivers license and then do a quick selfie. It always says "thanks for your submission" and then it says it's undergoing a manual review. A few hours later I get another request to do it all over again.
I think I've subitted it 5 or 6 times. Should I be doing something different? Am I doing something wrong? Can you help?

I am sorry to hear about the issue you encountered when trying to complete the ID verification process. In some cases, if you try to submit a document from the list and we can't automatically verify your submission, it will undergo a manual review process. If this happens, please allow 1-3 days for the team to finish their review.
If you do not have any documents from the list, you can submit a different government-issued ID, ensuring it's unexpired and valid. You may need to try multiple times and this will also trigger a manual review process. Please avoid cropping, altering, or uploading a screenshot of your ID card. Acceptable documents include a passport, national ID card (NIC/CNIC), driver's license, NBI Clearance (Philippines only), tax ID, voter ID, postal ID, or any other valid government-issued photo ID that meets these criteria.

Hi Upwork Support,
As soon as I got my first job, Upwork asked me for identity verification.
I submitted my National ID Card (Bangladesh) trying my best to follow the instructions but still it has gone under Manual Review.
I did already add my Tax Information (e-TIN) and Local Bank Account. In all of them my Identity is same and all are connected with my National ID Card.
My entire focus is on Upwork regarding my career, and was planning to be a plus member and invest my time on this platform. But this issue has got me worried.
Please help out regarding the process.

Hi Support Team,
I have received an email to verify my identity and whenever I try to do so with my Government issues ID or Passport it does not even allow me to capture a clear photo and quickly goes into reviewing and then says "Identity Verification is under Manual Review"
Tried 2 times as per the emails received same scenario happened and its just keep asking to adjust and suddenly clicks unclear photo and goes to manual review
Didn't even ask about selfie or anything else

Hi there,
So not sure what's going on with this verification process, It was completed and all was good on Saturday they said it was verified and I was able to Buy connects and submit proposals.
Today they asked again For ID and Selfie which I provided and now its stuck here with no further emails and nothing
Any help please to expedite this?

Hi There
The ticket you mentioned is already marked as closed and its from saturday, After that I have submitted the ID verification docs twice. I replied to that ticket asking what further I need to do from my end as its not even clear now to me.
First time they accepted it and was able buy connects as usual
Later yesterday on Monday when I accepted clien'ts proposal Upwork asked me to verify again with ID and Selfie which I did again
Now I didn't receive any further email and the ticket you mentioned is close
Can you please advise if my docs are being manually reviewed or need to resubmit?
