Hi. I am stuck in some kind of loop. I have received several requests to verify my identity yesterday and today. I keep using my phone to take a picture of the front and back of my drivers license and then do a quick selfie. It always says "thanks for your submission" and then it says it's undergoing a manual review. A few hours later I get another request to do it all over again.
I think I've subitted it 5 or 6 times. Should I be doing something different? Am I doing something wrong? Can you help?

I am sorry to hear about the issue you encountered when trying to complete the ID verification process. In some cases, if you try to submit a document from the list and we can't automatically verify your submission, it will undergo a manual review process. If this happens, please allow 1-3 days for the team to finish their review.
If you do not have any documents from the list, you can submit a different government-issued ID, ensuring it's unexpired and valid. You may need to try multiple times and this will also trigger a manual review process. Please avoid cropping, altering, or uploading a screenshot of your ID card. Acceptable documents include a passport, national ID card (NIC/CNIC), driver's license, NBI Clearance (Philippines only), tax ID, voter ID, postal ID, or any other valid government-issued photo ID that meets these criteria.

Thank you for sharing your concern. Upon checking, it seems that your previous submission was rejected because the image of your ID card was not acceptable. Please avoid cropping, altering, or uploading a screenshot of your ID card, and it should not expire. You may complete the ID Verification process again through this page.
Before you start the process, please make sure you can verify your identity in two ways, by providing an official government ID and meeting with us for a video chat. You can learn more here.

I am facing an issue verifying my Upwork account. Currently, I do not have a passport, driving license, or a smart NID card, as my National ID is still in the older format. Unfortunately, I am unable to get the smart card at this moment.
Could you please guide me on how I can verify my identity using the existing NID card or any alternative method that would be acceptable? I am eager to resolve this and continue working on the platform.

its been 16th day today and my account is still not active . i submitted all the documents and even recived an email that my account has been verified but it still isnt active. like this is terrible that this is being dragged for days and days and I cant even work on my profile

I started "Identity verification" 3 day ago, I used my mobile phone and got "Success" result, but I found "We'll check that the country where your ID is from matches the country in your profile." in my profile.
I was given 7 days to pass verification, but no one checks the result, a client is waiting for me, I am afraid of what will happen to my project when after this time I am simply disconnected from the system, although I did everything according to the instructions

I was asked by Upwork to verify my identity.
I did this using the link provided to a smart phone. After several photograph attempts, I was able to take acceptable photographs of the front and rear of my ID. I was also able to do the 'selfie' exercise.
It said it would update with messages / notification on the result.
However, I am still being asked to verify my identity.
Can Upwork staff see if this has been succesfully verified? What should I do?
