Hi. I am stuck in some kind of loop. I have received several requests to verify my identity yesterday and today. I keep using my phone to take a picture of the front and back of my drivers license and then do a quick selfie. It always says "thanks for your submission" and then it says it's undergoing a manual review. A few hours later I get another request to do it all over again.
I think I've subitted it 5 or 6 times. Should I be doing something different? Am I doing something wrong? Can you help?

I am sorry to hear about the issue you encountered when trying to complete the ID verification process. In some cases, if you try to submit a document from the list and we can't automatically verify your submission, it will undergo a manual review process. If this happens, please allow 1-3 days for the team to finish their review.
If you do not have any documents from the list, you can submit a different government-issued ID, ensuring it's unexpired and valid. You may need to try multiple times and this will also trigger a manual review process. Please avoid cropping, altering, or uploading a screenshot of your ID card. Acceptable documents include a passport, national ID card (NIC/CNIC), driver's license, NBI Clearance (Philippines only), tax ID, voter ID, postal ID, or any other valid government-issued photo ID that meets these criteria.

Same here. Tried with both passport and drivers licence. Probably taken over 20 photos, but it seems the app (that I had to download for this purpose) is not working. I have given up

Hello! I submitted my identity verification on 13th September. I tried at first with uploading my passport but it didn't let me, it couldn't recognize the document apparently. After that, I tried with my driving license, twice, and after that I uploaded my selfie. Today is 16th September and I still haven't been verified. Can someone tell me what's the issue?

Hi All,
I cannot verify my identity it shows Upwork has sent me an email for ID verification to my email.
But I have not received any email. I have both the accounts agency and a freelancer.
And the other thing is that I cannot apply for any jobs, that button is blur for me.

I checked your account and the "Apply Now" button is grayed out as your documents for ID Verification requirements are still under manual review. Our team will review and update your account as soon as possible. You will be notified of their message in case they need further information from you. Once your submitted documents are accepted, you will then be able to submit a proposal without any issues.

I checked your account and saw that you were requested to complete the verification process. It looks like the document you submitted was rejected.
The acceptable forms of ID vary by country and will be listed on the form.

My account has been suspended. I have completed all the verification formalities but still, there was no response from the support team regarding the verification was completed or not. Please check the attached screenshot it is showing the same not verified sign in the govt id.

My profile picture verification had failed and I was put into the manual verification process. A day later, I was told to change my picture, which I did. I have not gotten any clear instructions after that and when I tried to verify my Identity, it still shows the manual verification process under way.
Note: I am unable to start the verification process after changing my profile picture.

I got a notification to verify my Identity and I obliged by carrying out the identification process. It's more than 5 days now and I'm yet to get a feedback on my verification process. It's frustrating because I can't bid for jobs pending the completion of the verification process. I need help please.

My Identity verification was declined after I submitted my Government Issued ID and Billing statement. According to Upwork support teams, (I receive emails from different people on their team) they declined to acknowledge my documents because the billing statement that I sent was a screen shot only. And they are requiring me to provide my proof of address to verify my location. Why do they need to verify my location? Im looking for a work from home job.
Can anyone knows to whom I can reach out about my concern? Im worried because its seems like they neglected my identity verification request after I sent my documents in good faith.
