Identity Verification is under Manual Review

Hi. I am stuck in some kind of loop. I have received several requests to verify my identity yesterday and today. I keep using my phone to take a picture of the front and back of my drivers license and then do a quick selfie. It always says "thanks for your submission" and then it says it's undergoing a manual review. A few hours later I get another request to do it all over again. 

I think I've subitted it 5 or 6 times. Should I be doing something different? Am I doing something wrong? Can you help?

Need to APPROVE my identify by taking a selfie. There is no button or something like that to do it. 

I did it once and selfie ve been declined. Upwork asking me to do it again. Where i can do it, who can help? Support bot did not helped.

Can anyone help me if my id gets verified or not? I submitted my government issued id (citizenship) since i am from Nepal and I am clueless about the status of ID verification process. It would be really helpful because I am not being able to accept offer from the clients.

Recently I was changing my cover photo. After that I got the message "Action required: Verify your identity to continue winning jobs on Upwork. Get started." When I click GET STARTED, I see something like this

I looked into this, and it seems that your previous submission was rejected because the image of your ID card was not acceptable. I see that you are provided a chance to retry your submission on your Identity Verification page. Before you submit, please avoid cropping, altering, or uploading a screenshot or photo of your ID card taken from another device. I have a similar problem but not of the internet connection issue. I take a clear submission of my ID and each time I keep getting rejected and asked to verify again. I have submitted like 5 times but still not getting through. How can I fix this?

Hello, I got a job contract and then i am requested to the verification, to which I did with my ID card and selfie now am currently facing issue with my account verification, I already submitted all the necessary information and still yet, they are still reviewing my verification manually. Please help me out with this.

I am stranded and worried that I may loose this job.

I faced the same issue a month earlier. It usually takes up to 48 hours for the mannual verification.

You can contact customer support if the verification is not done in 48 hours after submitting the proof.
