If you are eligible or required to receive an “Identity Verified” badge, you can complete the two stages by going to Identity Verification in your Settings.

Hi, I am trying to verify my identity, however, the website is stuck at the screen showing how to continue using mobile, with a QR code or SMS.
I tried both methods, but my mobile web browser keeps landing at the same page again as above, showing 2 methods to continue, either QR or SMS.
I tried one more time from the mobile, using SMS, but again, the link sent to me directs me to the same page to verify.
How can I complete my identity verification ?

Hi Marko,
Thank you for your message. I checked and see that your account doesn't need be verified at the moment which is why the Identity Verification option settings in your account is currently not visible.
Kindly note that the verification cannot be requested but slowly being rolled out to users in Upwork. Once it’s required for you, you will receive a notification in your account and via email with complete information and instructions to complete the Identity Verification process.

Hi, Rona.
Thank you for your prompt response and explanation regarding the verification status of my account. I appreciate the information regarding the rollout process for identity verification. However, I would like to see it expedited. I read the forum posts and it says that the proposals is closed when the identity verification alarm comes. I have consumed almost 300+ connections on the bid and I think it is all gone so I would like to get the identity verification done quickly.

When you’re asked to verify your identity, you’ll need to start the process on your computer and complete the process on a mobile device with a working camera. Hello,
I'm trying to do the ID verification but every time I take a photo of my ID, it just says "invalid document".
I have "Driver's License" selected and that is what I'm taking a photo of (clear, fully visible, no flash), but I'm getting hit with that same message repeatedly. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

If your device does not have a camera or is not allowed, you can use any computer with a webcam (a friend’s, library, internet cafe, etc.). The device you use does not have to be yours.

I have two accounts. My first and my second account (which is accidentally created due to unknown reason). I use the second account on finding remotes jobs but no luck. One day, while browsing my other email, I saw a notification from Upwork. So I tried to check if that email was used to create an account on Upwork. The said email was used and it was 2017. I already closed my second account. Do I have a chance to get verified using my first account?
