Hi
I was not able to verify my document. When I scanned my Aadhaar Card(National ID card of India) it did not accept.
Can you please let me know how I can start my ID verification process.

If you are eligible or required to receive an “Identity Verified” badge, you can complete the two stages by going to Identity Verification in your Settings.
Note that we occasionally ask users to re-verify because periodic checks ensure their accounts continue to reflect accurate information. Our goal is to make this process as seamless as possible and we thank you for your contribution to keeping Upwork a professional and safe community.

Hi there Luigi. I submitted my passport ID for verification on 4th July '24 but it has not yet been verified. Upwork told me to contact support if the ID has not been verified for more than 48 hours but there is no way to contact support other than the chatbot. What do I do?

I checked and it doesn't look like you need to verify your account yet. The team will let you know if there is a need for any verification in the future.

Hi Upwork, I received an action from Upwork to verify my ID. I did that as instructed was, and I provided my id card and visual verification as well, but it is now seven days since I completed it but my account is still not verified. I am worried about it.

I checked your account, and it seems that the option to finish the ID verification is still available. It looks like you'll need to complete the process. It could be that your previous submissions weren't received or did not go through. This is just a friendly reminder to please avoid cropping, altering, or uploading a screenshot of your ID card. Thank you for sharing your concern. I checked and see that your account is active and doesn't have any limitations on it. Could you please try reloading your page or log out then log back in?

I am facing the Identity verification issue. first I uploaded my Driver's License and after finding it expired, I again uploaded my nationa ID (AADHAR in my case), now it says a manual verification has been initiated and in meanwhile I had to change my contact information as well. I have no options to re-do the verification also.
Can you please help with this

You need to wait until you receive your first job offer and accept it. Then you will be up for identity verification. They will send you an email when it's time.
