Identity Verification

It has been more than 48 hours since I did the identity verification process using the Government ID card option. I have not received any response concerning the status of it. Also, I submitted photos of my ID but when I opened the identity verification part on my account settings, below is the image its showing. Kindly assist in resolving this as I have a contract offer I have awaiting me to start on it. I have tried reaching support via email but I have not received any feedback yet, also the live chat support chatbot is not providing any assistance on this as it does not have the option of raising a ticket.

I'm sorry to learn you are having trouble with the verification process. I can see that the team notified you via this support ticket with more information about your case. I'd recommend that you continue coordinating with the team through your ticket so they can assist you further.

I have the same issue here. I don't know why it still persisted since I have been searching in the forum and many people mentioned this over and over

 I am facing the same issue of identity verification. I have tried different attempts, and when I submit my profile, it gets submitted. But when I look at it after logging, my profile is showing the same message.
I have not received any email or any communication from Upwork representatives.

Hi,  please hep me on this issue. I'm from Sri lanka. I have an Identity verification problem. I submited Sri Lanka's government ID and Appeard on the camera two times. still didn't receive any email or reply from upwork. and I can't apply for jobs. there were some good jobs which I misssed. still see the '' Action required  verify your identity '' message top of the website. I think only got 2 days before put on hlod  my account. someone know how to fix this ?

Hi Joanne

Should I complete the verification again ?
