Identity Verification

Hey. After getting my first job, I can't apply for any job! The "Apply now" button is disabled. I have 28 connects.
Also my public profile saying: "Profile no longer available".

Hi all,

 

If you are eligible or required to receive an “Identity Verified” badge, you can complete the two stages by going to Identity Verification in your Settings.

 

Note that we occasionally ask users to re-verify because periodic checks ensure their accounts continue to reflect accurate information. Our goal is to make this process as seamless as possible and we thank you for your contribution to keeping Upwork a professional and safe community.

 

In addition, if you are having trouble completing the verification process, please ensure that your mobile browser is in mobile view to proceed smoothly with the verification. Also, please ensure that you allow us to access your camera by turning the permission on. For your guidance, please see the details below:
 

For Google Chrome

  • On the left of your address bar, tap Camera or Microphone. These icons only appear if you previously changed your camera and microphone permissions for the site. Turn Permissions on or off.

For Safari

  • Go to Settings on your device. Scroll down and open the Safari tab. Ensure Camera & Microphone are set to Allow.

 

Tips to capture an image:

  • Take the photo of the ID from above, with the ID lying on a flat, dark surface
  • Don’t cover up any part of the ID or your face
  • Leave margins on all sides of the image
  • Don’t use a flash

We take the protection of your personal information seriously. Access to your information is strictly governed by Upwork's privacy policy. We do not sell any of the information you submit to us, and after 30 days, the images you submit to verify your identity are deleted. I see that you are referring to the domain in the email notification sent to you. I would like to confirm that this is an internal domain used by Upwork to notify you. This may not be available online as it is used for communication purposes only.

I am trying to verify my upwork account, as I got my first order. From laptop it says to scan qr code using mobile, but when I scan that QR code, It still redirects me to same view, What`s this?? Can anyone help me??

I reopened my Upwork account again, I haven't actively used it until now and for some reason, the apply box is greyed out. Everything on my profile is filled and up to date, I don't understand what is going on

You can complete the ID Verification process through this page. Hello, I need help with verifying my Upwork account. I have lived in Serbia Novi Sad since last year, and I recently registered myself as an entrepreneur and opened a business bank account at Poštanska štedionica. My life and plans for the future are now tied to this country, and it is the only place where I'm welcome and can constantly pay rent. Even though I have a Russian passport, I can't live there anymore and have no plans to return.

I've already sent my most recent bank statement and entrepreneur documents registered in Serbia during the verification in the Upwork application. Still, they were denied, and I am trying to figure out why.

I am Sohail Anwar, 

I am doing my PhD in Italy. I want to update my current location as Italy but I am unable to update it. 
As I have not received the government ID yet due to bureaucratic procedures and delays so to verify my location I have my visa document, university admission letter, and hostel residence letter. 

I have uploaded those documents but the upwork is not accepting it. Kindly guide me through this procedure I am willing to provide any available document that can help to solve this issue. 

keep in mind I have arrived this month here and for now I have only these documents with me and other documents will take time.
