However, despite this confirmation, my profile still displays the following message:
Some of your services are temporarily on hold. We would love to get you up and running again on Upwork. But first, we need you to take a few minutes to verify your identity.
Additionally, when I attempt to purchase Connects, I receive the following error:
Unfortunately, we were unable to process your transaction. Your account is being reviewed. We may need to verify your identity information. Please check your email for the detailed next steps.
I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue, as I have already completed the required identity verification and would like to ensure my account is fully active without any holds.

Hello,
I am trying to verify my Upwork account, but I am encountering an issue with the QR code verification. I have attempted to scan the QR code using both my tablet and phone, but I keep getting the same message asking me to scan the code again. Even after allowing camera access on my devices, it still prompts me to scan the QR code without proceeding.
I have followed all recommended troubleshooting steps, including using a QR code scanner app and adjusting camera permissions, but the issue persists. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter, as I am unable to complete the verification process.

I am sorry to learn that you are encountering an issue when trying to verify your ID. If you are seeing the same page as the one on your desktop, it's because of the settings of the mobile browser. I recommend that you set it to mobile view. If the issue persists even after doing so, kindly contact our customer support team through this page with a video clip replicating the issue.

Have any other freelancers recently been requested by Upwork to verify their identity and change their profile photo? I have gotten three emails today from Upwork saying my account will be shut down if I don't do both of the aforementioned things and I have been an Upwork freelancer for over 8 years now and have never had received a request like this before. My profile photo already meets all the standards and when I went to verify my identity, instead of chatting with someone from Upwork like they said I had to do, they want me to upload my driver's license, which I will not do for security reasons. If anyone can please advise, I would appreciate this greatly. Thank you.

The team requires that users submit a clear profile photo. It should be a close-up image of their head and shoulders, clearly showing their faces. It should also look professional. That doesn't mean you need to get headshots taken in a studio. It just should be the sort of picture you'd use for a passport or other ID. I checked your account and saw you've been requested to complete the ID verification process. Please log into your account and kindly click the option to get started. Once you complete the verification process and pass, the limitation on your account will be lifted.

I raised an issue regarding my photo verification failing everytime last week and there was a support ticket created to support my issue (49860418). I followed that but still I am getting error that my visual verification has failed.
What is the issue with your verification system ? I am fed up of clicking and uploading photos and everytime they are getting rejected.
